Hotel Elite Continental- Near Mumbai International Airport Andheri East

There was a rat infestation in the room. I have mentioned this to the receptionist multiple time. But he was unbothered. Then after request, they changed the room. Same situation there also. Atlast we caught a rat and it damaged my shoe bag.

I asked for mosquito repellent at the reception, the staff there pointed to someone else I asked again and he was enraged and shouted to ask the room service boys, the room service boys said we will bring but never brought it. Also, the bed was full of hairs they never cared to change the sheets it just reversed the side of the sheets and spread them. The toilet was dirty with pan stains everywhere, water leaking from the flush no toiletries provided. No breakfast provided though the booking was with breakfast. No invoice provided at the time of check out. Purely unprofessional guys.

I diYHitel d not stay due to unaccepted location and the hotel itself. The Booking.Com should not keep such hotels on list to double cross the guest. The pictures were like 3 stars andcon ground it was not even 1 star. There are 2 hotels in the same old building. I paid in advance and I lost as it was non refundable.

non availability of early , morning tea and in house restaurent.

The "hotel" is actually just a poorly built and maintained lodge. The entrance is inconvenient, on the first floor, and not welcoming at all.
Early check-in: I had messaged prior on Booking.com twice that I would like to request an early check-in. This request was promptly ignored and the person at the reception had no idea or pretended not to care.
Early check-in "fee": When I arrived at 0700, the person at the reception mentioned that all the rooms were fully booked, and I had to wait till 11 A.M. to avail a room. This turned out to be a big fat lie. The lodge was pretty much empty. He then requested a "charge" of 1000 INR that he promptly pocketed. And then all of a sudden, rooms became "available". The "rooms" then he showed were dirty and unkempt as they come. This is clearly predatory behaviour.
Room: Exhausted travelling 20 hours straight, I settled in one of the rooms only to find more "surprises".
- The rooms are dirty (see pictures attached), smelly, and disgusting.
- There is no soundproofing. You can hear everything INSIDE and OUTSIDE.
- The hot water doesn't work all the time.
- The bed sheets, mattress, and pillows are disgusting (see pictures attached).
- The refrigerator was a clunky, loud, nightmare. I had to shut it off while in the room.
- I had to get my own roach spray to clean the room.
- The housekeeping staff and receptionist are as incompetent and careless as they come.
- Only daily repeated complaints led to my room being cleaned.
Laundry: I entrusted them with the laundry and even that they botched by losing one of my white t-shirts; and no clue as to where it lay.
It's a shame that lodges like this are allowed to scam tourists and business travellers.
