We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Happy Home. The biggest highlight is definitely the location right in Colaba, close to major attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made getting around very easy.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. It’s a simple place, but well maintained and good value for the area.
The staff were kind, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. Check in and overall service were smooth and hassle free.
If you’re looking for a budget friendly, well located place to stay in South Mumbai, this is a solid option. We’d happily stay here again.

In a very local area which wasn’t the safest at night very dated room the double bed was two singles pushed together so there was a dip in the middle mattress was hard and I only had a blanket which was a long wide bit of fabric which had a hole in it
Mit einem uralten Aufzug fährt man hoch in den 3. Stock, wo das Hotel ist. Der Typ an der Rezeption spricht nur sehr wenig Englisch, ist aber ansonsten sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist sauber. Fernseher mit youtube!
Eine uralte geräuschvolle Klimaanlage. Ein kleines Fenster mit Milchglas. Late Checkout (auch mit Aufpreis) war nicht möglich. Recht hoher Preis.

Dirty and falling apart, stay away from this place!
The AC is working. The lift, staff is awful. The room is not maintained well. There were no toiletries. The staff want to charge me 30 rupees for a litre of water instead of giving me free which is usual in a hotel booking. The room was big but I repeat poorly maintained.

The hotel is a good value, but this does not compensate for its problems.
1. The staff cheated me by charging me double the actual cost of food I asked them to buy and deliver to my room (the hotel has no kitchen). I even gave a generous tip for the delivery service. I expect to be cheated on the street, BUT NOT BY MY OWN HOTEL! DISHONEST!
2. The booking.com details are not true! There is no sea view; the hotel has no view of the sea from any side! I was promised a sea view when I booked, and only discovered this lie when I checked in.The manager feigned ignorance when I demanded to know why this promise was not kept. DISHONEST!
3. UNCLEAN! I saw cockroaches in the room every evening. 🤮
