Situé juste à côté du train de Brienz -Rothorn , on voit partir le train de la chambre (pour celles situées en arrière.
Emplacement dans le village très bien.

3 Tage Aufenthalt in Brienz
Pros:

Das Hotel ist an sehr zentraler Lage am Zugbahnhof, Schiffsanlegestelle und Brienzer Rothornbahn. Ein grosser Einkaufsladen (Coop) ist neben dem Hotel. Ein kostenloser Parkplatz befindet sich hinter dem Hotel. Wir hatten ein schönes ZImmer mit Blick auf die Strasse und den Brienzersee. Bei geschlossenem Fenster konnte man den Verkehr nicht hören. Das Frühstück war gut und die Zimmer auch. Wir würden sofort wieder in das Hotel gehen.

Cons:

Es war alles sehr gut.

Had only booked it for lake view but instead got a wall view! Booking.com tricked me. There were flies at breakfast everyday all over the food. No fan in the room unless you go down yourself and bring one up from reception. Very small room with brick wall view

Easy and convenient. Great view.
Pros:

Location is great, right across from train. Super convenient. Our 2bedroom apartment was great. Wonderful view of the lake. Accommodating staff.

Cons:

No air conditioning, and that’s ok since normal temps are reasonable. Just be aware if it is super hot the top level may be too toasty. We visited in July w temps 20* above normal and managed to make it once the sun went down.

Dear Manager,

I am writing to share my experience staying at your property on the night of June 26, which I found deeply disappointing and which I hope you will take seriously.

We were assigned a room in the attic of the building. On a day when outdoor temperatures reached 33°C (92°F), the attic room was sweltering — far beyond what is acceptable for a paying guest. The sloping roofline meant we could only stand upright near the door. Opening the windows provided no relief, as the outside air was equally warm. We had no fan.

I raised this with your staff right away and requested a room change and a fan. I was told the hotel was fully booked and that only five fans existed for the entire building. I found this difficult to reconcile with the size of your property and the number of rooms in operation. Your staff — the restaurant waiters who were kind enough to try to help — did their best, but admitted they are not equipped to handle complaints.

As a result, we slept very poorly throughout the night. When we finally managed to drift off in the early hours, we were woken at 7:00 AM by the start of cog train operations directly behind us. I spent the following day feeling foggy and unable to concentrate — not the experience one hopes for while traveling.

( That next morning, June 27, I spoke with the waiter/ desk attendant who said he would put my name on a list to obtain a fan. He the told me to jump in the lake to cool off. I then pleaded with the house cleaner to obtain a fan. We did get a fan and slept much better the second night)

I want to be clear: I am not writing to be difficult. I understand that a heat wave is not within anyone's control. What is within your control is having adequate cooling equipment for your guests — especially for attic rooms, which are inherently the most vulnerable to heat — and ensuring that a manager is available when guests face genuine discomfort.

Region krásný, ale hotel příště vybereme jiný.
Pros:

Hotel je umístěn ve skvělé lokalitě s možností mnoha zajímavých výletů. Přímo před hotelem je vlaková i lodní stanice. Za hotelem stanice parního vláčku. Restaurace průměrná, ale personál ochotný a i v těch velkých vedrech obsluhoval rychle a s úsměvem.

Cons:

Pokoje jsou velmi malé, nebylo ani kam umístit kufr. Při příjezdu na nás čekala balená voda, což by byla milá pozornost, kdyby lahvička neměla už oddělané víčko. Nábytek na balkoně nejlevnější verze a velmi nepohodlný. Na toaletě byly cítit odpady.

Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist, für das liegt das Hotel perfekt. Direkt am Bahnhof, am See und gleich neben der Rothornbahn Station. Die Zimmer haben eine perfekte grösse (2Personen) und sind sehr sauber. Leider fehlt eine Klimanlage oder einen kleinen Kühlschrank, für diese Temperaturen. Wir hatten das Fenster im hinreren Rwil, so konnten wir das Fenster gut offen lassen, über Nacht.
Das essen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker und es wird rasch serviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt
