Blue Lagoon Cat Ba

Blue lagoon had everything we could ask for and more:
Fan, air con, heater, fridge. We could do laundry for free and it was drying up overnight so quick!
The bungalows are precious, so cosy, we didn’t want to leave!!!
The food for breakfasts was good, they have the most adorable golden retriever dog called Gun (Ginger in Vietnamese) and Lin the host is so helpful, knows all good places restaurants barber shops, nail salons etc. totally recommend! Our bungalow has two floors, soooo amazing. Extremely cosy and romantic, they also have amazing garden and you can sit outside.
The scooter rental is available there , very nice and cheap, we hired for almost every day to go around Cat Ba. Totally recommend! This was our best stay in Vietnam and we did 4 stays!

The staff, the vibe, the peacefulness, the view and the sweet golden retriever that lived there made staying at the Blue Lagoon Cat Ba our most favorite hotel we stayed in over our entire 3 week trip to Vietnam! We really loved our time there and would absolutely recommend it to other travelers! A delicious, freshly cooked breakfast each morning was the cherry on top! Just a wonderful stay!

La gentilezza e la disponibilità. L'immersione nel verde. I colori del giardino, l'orticello e soprattutto i bellissimi gatti e la sua bellissima padrona.

Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich hilfsbereit und zugewandt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt -eine kleine Oase inmitten der Hektik.

Le site est très jolie, le bungalow est très bien, pas loin d’une très belle plage et la baie de Lan Ha.

L’emplacement, la douceur de vivre, le personnel, les petits déjeuners, la location de scooter, la vue sur le lac avec plein de papillon

J’ai adoré l’atmosphère, un véritable petit havre de paix grâce à ce jardin rempli de végétations, de fleurs, de chatons adorables. La petite « cabane » où nous logions était décorée avec beaucoup de goût et de soin. Un bonheur.

Location was gorgeous, quiet, away from the down town cat ba noise. Staff was helpful and welcoming! The bungalow was adorable. Loved watching the butterflies outside the window.

The location was incredible! It was secluded by a small, beautiful lagoon. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They had beer and cocktails available. There were 6 cats and one dog in the common area, which was adorable. Our room was large and included a kitchen, sitting area, and large tv. The bed was surrounded by windows overlooking the lagoon. Breakfast was made to order, and the staff were very helpful in getting us taxis when needed. We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have spent more time!

A wonderful peaceful place outside of town, set on the lagoon, all charmingly rustic and Ling was the most perfect host making sure that my days were lovely, helping with organising trips/transport and nothing was too much trouble, a terrific find!

Everything about this stay was brilliant. The owners/staff were always super helpful and kind. We arrived too early to check in but they made us comfortable and we had breakfast there (which was delicious), the lodge was perfect. We were tired and they ordered dinner to the location for us. A good spot to get to a taxi to the town for boat tours, or to hire a motorbike and travel across the island. The dog/receptionist gừng was the cherry on top.

Świetna lokalizacja na uboczu Cat Ba (dla nas to plus). Wspaniały klimat - cisza, spokój, piękny ogród, w którym wieczorem można posiedzieć.
Rewelacyjny personel. Śniadania skromne, ale bardzo dobre.
Najlepsze i najuczciwsze drinki, jakie piliśmy w życiu przygotowane w niezwykłej atmosferze przez właściciela - pana Hai. Absolutny must have :)

The property is beautiful and very peaceful. The staff is friendly and very helpful - they assisted us with scooter rental and taxi bookings, as well as with restaurant recommendation for one of our favourite meals in Vietnam.

The location. Peaceful and beautiful, by a lake. away from the noise of the town of Cat Ba.
The only noise is the sound of the crickets at night. Bliss……
Staff were lovely and kind. Always available to help and advise.
We were sad to leave after 3 nights.
Highly recommend.

Blue Lagoon was such an oasis for us in Cat Ba - a peaceful escape from the over-developed town.

We slept so close to nature in beautiful wooden cabins. listening to all the birds and crickets.

All the staff there were so friendly and our baby made best friends with Linh, exploring their lovingly crafted garden.

The coffee was also superb and expertly brewed. We wished we'd stayed longer!!

It was the best place we've stayed in Việt Nam by a long long way, can't recommend highly enough.
