Crystall Goa Emerald Edition

This was our first time in India and we arrived in Patnem not knowing what to expect. The room was lovely and spacious and the staff could not have been more helpful. Fresh water in room daily, cleaning daily and help with itineraries. The two ladies in reception were so helpful with suggestions. We had breakfast included in our rate and the staff there were so helpful and kind. On the day that we were leaving they came in early to make breakfast for us. Forest the owner ensured that we were picked up at Mopa airport and dropped off by a wonderful driver, Manoj. Forest also helped us with a gift we had trouble finding and he sourced it for us. We loved our stay in Patnem and would definitely stay here again. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is about 100 yards or so from the beach. Well done team Emerald and thank you for one of our best holidays ever!

Great place,we have been in the family room with our 3 children. The room was clean, and with comfortable beds. The kids loved the swimming pool .
The staff were very nice and friendly. Next to the hotel there is a restaurant that you can order food from.
We are highly recommend the hotel to families.

Very clean, modern rooms with good air con and WiFi , plus fridge and kettle.
Huge bed and spacious rooms with balcony looking out over the courtyard.
There is a pool but the beach is also only 2 mins walk. Close to shops.

Clean and handy for the beach Staff very good and the new pool was good for cooling down in the afternoon heat Restaurant just across the road was handy.Nice big beds and a good ac.Would stop again if came to Patnem again .Good parking for the scooters.

An oasis of calm amidst the revelry.

After stating in beach huts for 2 weeks this place was a breath of fresh air.

It felt like a proper hotel room just off the beach with all mod cons.
The staff were AMAZING,
The restaurant across the road does room service, very high standard, and the best coffee in Patnem.
The place was super clean, no mosquitos.

Cant wait to stay there again next time.

Stayed 4 weeks. Very close to my yoga classes at Kranti. I had the delux room got a great deal better than the beach shacks on the beach and with more extras AC, hot water, fridge, kettle and a smart TV! There is Netflix must have your own log in, I was fortunate someone had not logged out so could I watch it for my whole stay. WIFI speed was good down load speed was 20 Mbps. Also if the power goes out which is common in India there is a generated. Good coffee, great fruit salads and the staff were all switched on if there was a problem it got sorted ASAP. Everything was neat and tidy. Would definitely recommond Crystal Emerald.

Just spent nearly 3 months here for the 2nd time! wouldnt go anywhere else, Also serves the best coffee in Patnem! resonably priced confortable and great location. Very polite helpful staff. Aircon and generous size rooms. The new bungalow across the road are also great and well equiped, The owner Forrest, also runs a very good taxi service for collection and drop to Airport and attractions.

Crystal Goa Emerald Edition has one of the best rooms and services compared to others in the locality. Coffee is amazing must try. Food is tasty and affordable. Friendly staff and overall good vibes. Highly recommended at Patnem Beach.

Calm and comfortable stay in South Goa. I stayed at this place thrice in 6 months. Once with wife, then with friends and then family. Easy access to Patnem Beach. Big rooms, open air restaurant under the coconut trees, good food and polite staff. Best place for workation.

We were recommended this hotel and pleased we chose it the staff were awesome, rooms clean and comfortable, coffee and breakfast was great and very close to the beach I would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone. Will be back next year Mal and Nicole.

Oasis in the Goan sands.
Positives. Crystal Goa emerald edition is a lovely hotel with lots of palms and ferns to give it a rain Forrest feel, it’s nice to sit out of the heat of the sun to enjoy your breakfast or just a drink. They do perfect coffee drinks to rival costa coffee.
The room we had was on the ground floor, on the patio was two comfy chairs and over head fan. Inside the sliding doors covered by white cotton curtains our room consisted of a large bed with drawer cabinets beside bed, large full length mirror, desk, chair, large fridge and a single wardrobe. A large TV at end of bed on wall had Netflicks.
The large bathroom was a wet room with toilet, sink, and shower. Large bath sheets 2, and 2 hand towels, soap and toiletries. There was also a stainless steel carfe to fill with drinking water( filled with bottled water) outside near the bar. All the staff were very friendly, helpful felt more like staying with family.
Negatives.
Only small grumbles. There is no safe in rooms or reception, but saying that there was security all night and the gates were closed at 10pm. There was nowhere to put your toiletries in the bath room, luckily we had hanging ones. There is also no mosquito plugins or deterrent in rooms. The drawers were a bit stiff and there was only 2 hangers in the wardrobe( I always take my own) other than that we had a wonderful stay the bed were super comfortable , outside the gate turn right and it’s a 2minute walk to the beach, there are plenty of shops and laundry’s. If you need to change money the one nr the beach has the best rate. Opposite hotel is a wonderful massage place, very professional, turn left out of hotel and there are a few more restaurants at the end of road, sea view had great food. Finally the busy pablum beach is a 100Rupee ride away by tut tut, busier beach and lots more shops and restaurants magic Italy was a great Italian restaurant there.

We are very glad that we chose this hotel. The staff is very sociable, friendly and attentive. Receptionist Frazma is a very responsible and friendly girl. They are always interested in whether everything suits you and if something is not right, then immediately eliminate everything and do everything to your desire. Also, the hotel is located near the beach. At the hotel I noticed a garden with beautiful coconut trees under which you can always hide from the heat. The rooms are also good enough large and comfortable. Thanks again to all the hotel staff. We will be happy to return there again.

After 2 weeks on the hardest mattress in India we had the pleasure of sleeping in this bed for 3 nights in the cottage room.

Lovely hotel, staff friendly and attentive but were a little let down with the room on the whole. Firstly the room was clean and the bed was one of the comfiest we’ve had in India, soft mattress, soft pillows and nice clean bedding. But room for improvement on rest.

Loose stone slab by bathroom door, shelf missing by bathroom sink (holes in wall where missing), another shelf not level and no bath mat provided. However the shower was really good.

A/C was filthy as can see thick dust spilling out. I work in a similar industry and if A/C filters are not cleaned regularly it can cause serious illness such as legionnaires.

TV was useless as was only Indian cable channels, would be much better off just having a TV monitor connected to WiFi for use of Netflix.

A lot of mosquitos inside/outside the room and no mosquito net provided.

However I would stay here again (but maybe in the superior room) and I would recommend to others. The bed was the saving grace!

Just had the most wonderful stay in Patnem. Big spacious rooms, plastic free and friendly staff, not to mention the 1 minute walk to the beach. It was beautiful. We loved the large bed, hot and high pressure shower and fast wifi. We can’t wait to come back again ❤️

We had four nights here and had a pleasant stay. We were in a ground floor room that faced out into the bar, it doesn’t give you a lot of privacy but we didn’t find it noisy as bar wasn’t late. Room was large and comfortable with nice terrace. Breakfast was usual eggs/ coffee which was adequate albeit a bit disorganised at time’s . If I was coming back would request a first floor room for more privacy.

The hotel is in the middle of Patnem, two mins from the beach. Rooms face a shady courtyard where breakfast is served. The rooms are great: spacious and light with comfortable beds, air-conditioning, good bathrooms, Netflix and balconies. Service is good and they can arrange taxis / bikes at reception. Recommended if you want a step up from beach hut accommodation.
