Pros:

We had a very enjoyable stay for 2 nights at the Forge. The room was smallish, but clean and well decorated, with a comfortable bed and the facilities we would have expected. Access was available around the side of the building so we didn't need to go through the bar each time we entered or exited. Breakfast was very well cooked and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. we were informed that one of the nights was quiz night so there might be no parking in the car park if we came back late from our day out but there was ample parking nearby on the quiet village street so we parked there for an hour before moving the car back to the car park. The pub is in a great location for getting into Whitby.

Fantastic stay, great food and welcoming , friendly staff.
Pros:

Fantastic host Beth. Beth was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and the best breakfast I have ever had in a bed and breakfast. Cooked to perfection for me ( I’m a very fussy eater usually) . Will definitely return.

Cons:

The only fault that my husband and I said was the low bed that we could have done with a better quality mattress. Oh and a toilet roll holder in the bathroom. Everything else was perfect.

Excellent location, in a quaint village 3 miles from Whitby, close to park & ride.
Staff very welcoming, friendly atmosphere in the pub.
Food Excellent, especially full English breakfast 😋.

A warm welcome in a great hotel with lovely food, great location, picturesque village with sea views
Pros:

The room was spotless with a really comfy bed and great views. We had a friendly welcome from Beth and all the team, and the food was exceptional with a good choice.

Nothing it was all great.
