Pros:

Ruhige Lage, schön erhaltene historische Gemäuer

Cons:

Frühstück hat eine gewisse Tagesform (wurde gegen Ende immer besser). Unser Zimmer (ZEN) konnte nicht richtig abgedunkelt werden. Restaurant unter der Woche nur am Abend offen. Betrieb insgesamt sympathisch, aber zT wenig professionell (zB wurde uns im Restaurant mitgeteilt wir müssten schon mal 40 Minuten warten, da es gleichzeitig noch ein Hochzeitsessen gibt).

Pros:

Das Frühstück war toll und die Anlage selbst ist wirklich sehr schön, wenn auch etwas verwildert, aber das ist wohl Teil des Charmes.
Uns wurde netterweise ein kleiner Kühlschrank (passend für eine Wasser) zur Verfügung gestellt.
Das Bad war recht neu und total ok.

Cons:

So schön die Location ist, so ungemütlich und die Jahre gekommen war unser Zimmer leider.
Der Teppichboden war nicht sauber (und ist auch einfach wirklich unhygienisch, gerade wenn man mit Kind reist), die Einrichtung ist zusammengewürfelt und teilweise beschädigt, es war oberflächlich sauber, aber nicht wirklich rein. Schade, dass so ein charmantes altes Schloss in den Zimmern den Charme komplett verliert. Daher würden wir leider nicht wieder übernachten.

Eine ruhige Nacht ist garantiert & ein umfassendes Frühstück.
Pros:

Die Lage & die konsequente nachhaltige Versorgung mit Bio Produkten weitgehend aus eigenem Anbau. Das Gasthaus & der Hofladen sind ebenfalls empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Die Rezeption dürfte gerne abends länger anwesend sein.

Pleasant stay near Augsburg and the Romantic Road.
Pros:

Free parking was important for my rental car. Good access to the Fairy-Tale Castles of Ludwig II, the walled towns of the Romantic Road, and Munich Airport.

Food was satisfactory, and nearby dining options were limited.
