My garden view room had no view, no privacy, we looked onto an outside hallway to the restaurant, really disappointing
The location and facilities were absolutely gorgeous! The staff is very professional and always available to help with whatever you might need. The place is very clean and well taken care of. The place is much more beautiful than the pictures show.
Our second visit to this property in less than a year, exceptional attention to detail and comfort. Looking forward to returning to this most pleasant situation
Nothing that I can think of to dislike
The food was exceptional. Really surprising and honestly, the most delicious Sri Lankan cuisine we had on this trip.

It's a boutique hotel which gave privacy and luxury both. Location is exceptional with a beautiful walk to the beach. Food is exceptional. They changed menu every day, it was fine dining every day and it was so delicious. Perfect for relaxing with family. We went with a toddler and he loved it. Property is surrounded by trees so expect mosquitoes! But they have a herbal lotion to help fight it. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.
I dont know where to start really! Stunning architecture, lush beautiful gardens and pool. So quiet and peaceful. Staff is so attentive without being overbearing. Food and cocktails also really high quality. Afternoon tea and treats was beautiful. I loved just chilling by the pool and watching the Frangipani trees and listen to the birds. I hardly ever rate 10 but its well deserved- this is a gem! Had the best time!
Not a hotel issue but please be aware the beach is not ideal for swimming. Water in the pool gets quite warm but thats no surprise given the weather.
The Staff are beyond amazing.
We had a two bedroom Ground Villa.. Right next to pool. The Decoration is amazing, the staff and butlers are amazing.
The personalized help and assistance and butlers were great. Location is Good. Not exactly on the beach, you have to cross a little path to get there.
The Air conditions are ONLY available in the sleeping quarters, so we really couldn't benefit from the beautiful TV room nor lovely dining / living area, because unairconditioned.
The Bathroom Towels are geat quality, but shampoo and conditioners are poor. Make sure you get your own.
We visited Near by Hotels, which had activities, restaurants, music, and live action. You will ot get that in this hotel, this Hotel is quiet, it's for rejuvinating and running away from any noise, you really will not see anything.
The room lights were very dim. I am a person who needs lights in my life.. So this was not comfortable.
Hidden gem for those who value quality and personal touch. Team was amazing and ready to make your holidays beyond perfect. Special award goes to chef - food is simply amazing!
It's hard to find minuses. Maybe a small suggestion would be to enlarge water heaters in bathroom to at least 50 liters so it lust longer for bigger families.
Everything and especially the service, it was mind blowing, haven’t experienced such a service anywhere and food is also superb. Staff is very very accommodating. Aesthetics of the property is another level.

Absolutely everything , it is a peaceful paradise set off a fantastic beach, beautiful well maintained property looked after by a team of experienced staff. We loved this place.

This was a wonderful, tranquil haven, with really friendly and helpful staff, wonderful ‘colonial style’ gardens, easy access through the palms to the beautiful yet quiet beach, and excellent food

Beach and seashore: perfect flat surface for long walks and swimming on waves
Location and surroundings: we stayed for 2 days and there was no need to go out; railway between the hotel and the beach is a beautiful addition
Staff: super friendly and professional people very attentive to details
Food: delicious very well prepared seafood, amazing breakfast, good wine card, service is excellent
Room and service: super clean cozy and comfortable, many pretty small details, twice a day room service
Territory: not large but clean cozy and very well maintained; amazing palm garden
WiFi: good even for video calls

Areas for improvement:
- AC in the room is loud, we were not able to adjust the fan
- It won’t hurt to have some hangers in the garden shower
Everything was gorgeous from the moment you arrived. The staff were exceptional in every way and very helpful with local questions. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated as was the whole hotel. The setting was stunning with the pool, lawn and then the beach. Attention to detail was next to none. I really hope we can visit again one day. Don’t hesitate book now!
