near bus stop which is what we wanted for 1 night stay but location is quite far from main city centre (although still easy to order Ola and Swiggy).
bed was comfortable, hot shower. staff friendly.
they charged us extra (double) because we arrived at 5am even though we had messaged in advance to inform of this and were told that’s fine with no extra charge mentioned. They actually had a notice on the wall saying they charge 2000 for checkin before 5am which seems insane considering a nights stay is around 500.
staff were super lovely but the manager seemed to have a problem with us (maybe because we were foreigners?). We asked to keep our bags after checkout, they reluctantly agreed (even though this is a v normal request). When we returned our train had been delayed by 6+ hours, so we sat at the table in reception to occupy ourselves and when staff asked we said we’ll leave about 7pm (it’s 4pm at this point). the staff member was on the phone to their manager and they said we had to leave and couldn’t wait there. We weren’t making any noise, literally just sitting on our phones and there were no other guests. This meant we ended up waiting at the train station for hours in the freezing cold. Never experienced this from a hotel before, really bizarre, we felt like we were a nuisance, not like we were paying guests.
we were looking for a decent clean place and we were not disappointed. the p;ace was clean though location is a little inside, the place is good just for a night stay. it does offer many facilities. mostr importantly the washroom were clean and decent. but at the discounted price it is worth it.
