OK if you need a basic, no frills overnight stay.
Pros:

My room was warm and comfortable in the middle of winter. It turned out that the person travelling with me had a room which was cold and needed updating. Breakfast was good and fillng once we found a table and some cutlery to eat it with.

Cons:

They seemed to be short staffed which impacted on breakfast time. We were only staying one night, for an evening event nearby. The hotel was adequate for our purposes, being in the right location. But it was a shame that the person I was travelling with found their room too cold, with a radiator that was inadequate for the room. Therefore, we had mixed views on our experiences. An odd layout means you walk through the restaurant with your luggage, following a sign to the Toilets to reach the stairs for bedroom accommodation.

Really comfy. Good value
Pros:

Staff were amazing, particularly Fiona, who worked the early morning breakfast shift. We had a room on the second floor when we first arrived and my husband who is disabled asked if it would be possible to change to a room on the first floor which the lovely young man sorted without any fuss.

Pros:

The meal on Sunday was as good as always, the waitress who served us was attentive .

Cons:

The breakfast in the restaurant on Monday morning was poor service , had to wait for replenish of certain trays of food ( beans , eggs , mushrooms yorkies) + seems not enough staff available hence the wait for plates & food .(several diners were moaning).
