Pros:

The guy at the front desk helped us with everything we requested. He was kind and upgraded our room to a larger one at no extra charge. He even agreed to let us use his kitchen even though it was really small. The children's room (4th floor with 2 large beds) was spacious.

Cons:

The hotel is small with many stairs and no elevator. The first room we received had no window and smelled musty. The rooms are not cleaned properly and it was very unpleasant to sleep there.

Pros:

Location is tucked away in an alley far from the main roads, so less noise. The place is operated by a family and they are warm and friendly. Room is generally very clean and tidy.

Cons:

Bed was a little hard and there's poor soundproofing within the hotel (overall still a quiet stay).

An ordinary place close to the center
Pros:

Lication-close to the Lake. Friendly owner.

Cons:

Hard bed, tap water smells horrible, Internet connection on 3rd Floor is awful, always broke down. Windows are covered with tape and don't open

Pros:

The location was great, it was only a short walk to lots of restaurants and markets.

Cons:

The hotel had very poor soundproofing, you could hear all external noises very clearly so we all slept very poorly. There was a dog barking outside the entire night and also a cockerel which started at 5am. The room was also quite damp.

Pros:

This place went above and beyond to be accommodating for me, which is so appreciated as a solo traveller!! They let me check in early and also check out late at no extra charge when bus times didn't line up the way they were supposed to.
Room was small but clean and had everything I needed.
Walking distance to the night markets and plenty of restaurants.
