If you have not stayed here yet and booked it with a fee cancellation option, this would you chance to change to another

For what mentioned in booking.com in terms of pictures and the facilities. It was not what it was.

Cons:

Rooms not sound proofed. Toilets were dirty looking, room side lamps did not work. Toilet always had urine smell, which probably came through other rooms.

I paid full and dint stay . Management refuses local id and did not even consider exceptiona refund

Reduce your expectations of a comfortable stay if plan to take this hotel.
Pros:

The friendly staff was the only tolerating point to stay here. They were really kind and did so much to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was a consolation to the stay

Cons:

The list is long. Constructions happening in the next building had unbearable knocking sounds which was the alarm clock for us as early as 7am. Room conditions were not as advertised in the site. Changed to 3 rooms in my 5 night stay. Rooms not at all sound proofed. Every honk, every Neighbours’ toilet flushes were heard. The price is not worth based on the above conditions as we stayed at a much better hotel a few days before, for a price that was lesser than this and the breakfast spread was way better.

Facilities and hospatility all perfect at the Quadroom inside the Madras Grand Hotel

Cons:

at the MG apartment building, The noise from roadside the 3rd floor apartment stay is really annoying until 2am and in between also.. it's crystallize clear of noise.. Really uncomfortable and unable to sleep peaceful.
