Value for money but lacking breakfast let it down
Pros:

Very nice staff and good food

Cons:

No breakfast on Friday morning. Rooms very hot no facilities for turning off heated towel rail

Pros:

Convenient and v friendly staff.
Dog friendly and perfect location.

Cons:

Black mold in the bathroom. Bathroom light flickered over shower. No still water only sparkling in the room, on asking at the bar they run out so tap water only. Very noisy at night when people are in and out of the fire exit. No explanation on what to do with key on check out.
No reserved parking for guests

Scrupulously clean room. Lovely, hard working staff who couldn't do enough for us.

Everything that you need for a night stop, great place
Pros:

Handy location, very helpful and friendly staff. The food menu looked good and although I didn’t need to eat, it was so busy that I just knew the food would be good. Comfy bed and everything I needed for a night stop as well as a pleasant view over farmland

Pros:

This is a great place to overnight on the M6 corridor. Comfortable, pub grub and easily accessible.

Cons:

This trip I had two springer spaniels. This was fine for the most part. A handy grass area and close to a good footpath nearby for a longer walk... BUT access to the rooms is via a metal fire escape. This frightened the dogs..and one got a claw wedged in the grating. Can I suggest the property looks at a safer staircase surface that is dog friendly. We accept this was an installed feature of the pub, but a slight alteration might make a significant difference!
