Lovely accommodation. Staff and owner fabulous. Food was decent. Just off M6.
There was a band playing in the bar which was loud - and for others this might have made their night - but for us it was too loud as we are not used to noise- we were assured it would finish at 10.00 pm, which it did, so sleep wasn’t affected. Everything else was perfect.
Everything- lovely place - friendly staff
Nothing
Fantastic welcome from very helpful staff. The room was large, very clean and bright. Had the lunchtime menu and evening meal. The food service and vibe was excellent. Good value for money. The location was excellent for the work I was doing. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
Nothing. It was great!
Very good value for money. Room.was lovely view amazing. Food very tasty.
The toilet downstairs in the bar was not clean. Did not fit in with the rest of the building.
Decor was lovely, staff amazing, food delicious 1000% recommend
Very dog friendly, and nice atmosphere in hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff.
No breakfast available.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Good value for money. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Food tasty and good portions.
Everything was fab
It was very good for what we paid
I would probably say they need to tell other guests staying over to tell them to keep the noise down after 11pm as a guest across the way didn’t know how to speak quiet that was the only down fall
Very cosy and clean
I liked everything
Very clean room and generous sized bathroom, excellent restaurant for the evening meal
would have liked a breakfast offered even at additional cost
Large clean comfy room. Tea coffee, biscuits and bottled water provided. Modern bathroom with toiletries and great shower. Lovely bar/lounge area with real fire and comfy sofas. Breakfast is available at weekends at a great price and very good set us up for the day!
Tiny negative was no plug socket by the wall mirror but there was a handheld mirror to use
The food
Cold room, grubby skirtings, bed was coming apart and all scratched
Room was as advertised. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean. There is a TV and free WiFi. Tea making facilities, biscuits and porridge pots provided. They don't offer breakfast on weekdays but we had breakfast at the Village Kitchen Cafe, Copull a 2 minute drive away.
We arrived at 8:30pm and after a long drive we were disappointed to be told they were closing up for the night. We bought a drink and took it to our room.
Would do well to invest in better pillows, they were lumpy and so we had a restless night due to ears hurting and waking us up 🙁
Really lovely staff
Really good sized room and comfy bed
Excellent breakfast
Perfect place for a stopover 5mins from the M6! Pub food was very good, lots of space in the room and brilliant shower.
No breakfast option during the week, but there was instant porridge, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk sachets in the room anyway.
Definitely recommended.
