Pros:

Location is a bit far from the center
The room was clean but only had one window and no air circymulation. The blanket we got smelled. Like it wasn't dried properly.
The service was so so. There was breakfast. But not elaborate and only at a very small time window. If you stay multiple days breakfast will be the same/similar.
We also asked if it was possible to do laundry. The only information we got was laundry is at the other side. No exact address are any intention of help.
Overall the price does not justify what was offered

Pros:

I loved the view from Pearl room, one of the reasons to repeatedly visit here. Love Mala amma and Lalithama's food. I ve never seen a host like Venkatesh Anna who cares enough for the guest, accommodates early check-in and late check out, arranges local travel at a reasonable price. Coonoor is my hometown, I have a lot of relatives here and yet I choose Satya Anand Cottage for hospitality by Venkatesh Anna and his team.

Cons:

No option for Non veg. If their veg food is this tasty I'd really love to taste their non veg menu. But I wouldn't complain much about it. As the owner has a lord Shiva idol inside the premises with a meditation centre. So totally understand their ideology and beliefs.

Pros:

We loved the stay here and we were delighted by the excellent service( hospitality) served by the caretaker( Mr. Venkatesh ji and their team) The room which was provided to us was good. The food which was served to us was homely. They also provided us with a very good driver ( Mr. Ram), for sight viewing, who was perfect for this. We being 3 women, felt safe inside the premises as well as with this driver.

Best thing was the breakfast and the way which staff prepared and served it. Best South Indian breakfast during my journey. Care taker Venkatesh Anna is very caring person. We liked our stay there.

Pros:

They have messaged us prior with the location and type of room etc. property is little outside of main coonoor town. But near by town.

Swiggy is reachable if you want the food from outside ( if you want dinner here , you have to inform prior) food is too good. The dishes made with love by aunty (owner) and the taste is too good. Something local which you have not eaten outside. I would definitely love to know the name of dosa aunty prepared when kavya kodancha stayed here. I booked this hotel for my client and all these reviews are based on what they said.
Main point - this place is exceptionally clean!! They take out your bedsheets immediately after check out. Slippers provided for bathroom wear. Everything is so clean (bathroom, sink, room etc)

Cons:

Only problem was the bathroom tap water was a bit muddy .

Superb break fast. Mr Vengidesh we’re excellent care taker. So caring to me and my daughter. Even I have to check out too early 8 am on Sunday due to holy mass , still he arranged excellent vermicelli upuma, Toasted bread, jam with Butter and coffee.superb room carpets for winter.Good working heater for us@7 litter capacity storage.
