Great location near restaurants and the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Will come back to this hotel when in Da Nang!

good location, clean, reasonable

I stayed at Doji Stars for 6 nights. I like the hotel for many reasons. First, it is well-located right in the heart of the foreigners' area, so you can easily walk to many international restaurants and bars. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk as well. The hotel is off the main road, so I didn't hear any traffic or loud people walking at night. Secondly, despite choosing the smallest room recommended by the hotel for solo travelers, I found the size cozy and not too small. The bed was firm, which I like. The room had a small fridge and a hot water kettle. Nice! Thirdly, the housekeeping service was above average quality. My room was not only cleaned well everyday, but on the 4th day they exchanged my hot water kettle with a just cleaned one. This is a detail that few other hotels bother themselves with. Negatives: Not many. The wi-fi in my room on the 6th floor was slow for a few days, but the management added a router on the 6th floor and then the speed was quite fast and reliable. If you have any concerns, the staff seem to be quite attentive. In conclusion, if you're looking for a hotel that offers good value for your money and in a convenient area, you might consider staying at Doji Stars.

I stayed at Doji Stars Hotel for 6 nights and was discovered that there is a lot to love about this mid-sized hotel. Firstly, it is well-located smack in the center of the foreigners' area. The hotel is tucked away behind a main road, so I never heard loud traffic or noise from late night revellers. Within a 5-minute walk, there are many international restaurants and Vietnamese cafes, a good fitness gym around the corner, as well as the beach. Secondly, I was very satisfied with the compact room recommended by the hotel for solo travelers. It was cozy (didn't feel too small at all) and had everything I needed including a small window, a hot water kettle, a fridge and a comfortable bed. Thirdly, the quality of the housekeeping service is above average. My room was very clean and the housekeepers voluntarily exchanged my room's hot water kettle after a few days, which is something no other hotel in Vietnam has done for me without my requesting it. Finally, the hotel receptionists are attentive and friendly. Without needing to ask, the receptionists provided me with an electric fan when I sat in the un-airconditioned lobby. Negative points: Quite minor. Just the walls for the elevator could use a good cleaning because it had a lot of smudges from guests touching it. Easy to fix that problem with some stainless steel cleaning spray. In conclusion, I recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a well-located hotel that offers good value for the money.
