Beautiful location, we had a blast!
Pros:

Everything was great and as advertised

Cons:

Our room didn't get cleaned one day and it meant our order in wasnt taken away. This caused a bigger mess the next day.

Rain Forest Sanctuary in the Heart of La Fortuna
Pros:

Lomas del Volcán has a stunning location situated underneath the Arenal Volcano; rooms/lodges were spacious and well-appointed with a deck, jacuzzi bath and stunning location set in lush tropical rainforest. The hotel pool and pool bar were a highlight with views of monkeys, birds and other wildlife also in a stunning elevated setting. Enjoyed the lounge bar food on a couple of evenings. The team and service was generally warm, friendly and attentive….we very much enjoyed the stay….and the sloth discovery tour which the hotel also organised - we saw 9 sloths in their wild natural habitat 🙏

Cons:

Only downside was the all day dining restaurant and breakfast which perhaps lacked the vibe and quality of the rest of the hotel experience - but in the scheme of the overall stay, not a major issue.

Wonderful place to stay
Pros:

Beautiful property with a wonderful pool area and the pool was lovely and warm with a swim up bar.
Staff so friendly and food very good.

Cons:

Nothing. Would stay here again.

Fantastisch en boven verwachting
Pros:

Het complex is prachtig aangelegd met zoveel planten en bloemen, het uitzicht op de vulkaan, het ontbijt was erg uitgebreid, super vriendelijk personeel, en erg schoon en onderhouden

Tolle Unterkunft in La Fortuna mit Blick auf den Arenal
Pros:

Die Bungalows sind ausreichend groß und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Der überdachte Balkon kann auch bei kurzen Regengüssen gut genutzt werden. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage und das Entfeuchtungsgerät arbeiten sehr effektiv.
Das gesamte Gelände ist ein riesiger, gepflegter tropischer Garten - ein absolutes Highlight.
Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl und war geschmacklich sehr gut. Wir haben die Terrasse mit Blick auf den Vulkan Arenal sehr genossen.
Die Poollandschaft inkl. Poolbar ist sehr schön angelegt.
Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich.
Die Lage etwas außerhalb von La Fortuna hat uns gut gefallen.

Pros:

Location is more remote with a quiet relaxed feeling. Booked the bungalow with the jetted bath and was very happy. Amenities were good and pricing decent for menus. Large hot tub in pool area. Large pool with bar on the end was convenient.
