Beautiful location and great room, let down by poor food quality, particularly at the >£300 per night price point.
Pros:

Beautiful setting with water on all sides and very close to the Glencoe valley. Lovely family room. Great walks straight from the hotel.

Cons:

Price at over £300 is punchy and whilst the surroundings live up to that, I don’t think the service and food do. Food in particular was a very weak point, it’s a punchy menu, we had rib eye and mussels which some of the cheaper menu choices (c.£25 & £35). Steak arrived rarer than blue (waiter was visibly quite shocked when said we had asked for medium rare). Serving team dealt with this well, but this was such a big miss / lack of care from kitchen that I wouldn’t trust them on the higher end menu choices (sea food platter - £120), lobster and monkfish tagliatelle £45). Mussels a bit bland also.

Great location for a visit to Glencoe
Pros:

Spacious room and bathroom.

Cons:

Bed was two beds joined together and had a very obvious seam down the center. Staff were a mixed bag when it came to friendliness. Only one of the restaurants was open when we stayed.

Pros:

Hôtel en plein cœur de la vallée de GLENCOE, avec une magnifique vue sur le lac, le fait de pouvoir utiliser la piscine et le sauna était un +, petit dej très bien

Cons:

Der Zustand des Zimmers ist für ein Hotel in dieser Preisklasse inakzeptabel. Überall Schimmelflecken, an den Wänden hängen dicke Staubfäden, dazu sichtbare Spuren von Wassereintritt. Im Bad sind die Fugen komplett schwarz vor Schimmel – so ekelig, dass wir es nicht benutzen wollten und stattdessen im Spa-Bereich geduscht haben. Das Bett ist hart, und das Heizungsdisplay leuchtet die ganze Nacht so grell, dass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Selbst der Pool ist unbeheizt und kalt. Von Erholung keine Spur.

Fazit: Zum Übernachten unbedingt meiden und eine andere Unterkunft in der Nähe buchen. Wer möchte, kann hier zum Abendessen kommen – mehr aber nicht.
