Not worth the price for the room and the food
Pros:

Lovely view of the loch during breakfast. The reception staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable.

Cons:

The room was on the small side for the price compared to hotels we had stayed at in nearby towns.
We had dinner at the hotel and felt it was expensive for what it was. A medium steak came as very undercooked. The staff were also inattentive, we had to ask for tap water more than 4 times and when it finally arrived at the end of our meal there were no glasses, additionally my partner asked for sauces when his food was first served and had to ask several times before it finally arrived just as he was finishing his meal.

Not worth the cost
Pros:

The hotel was in a good location

Cons:

The decor was tired in places, I had to request a new room on arrival as the original one was dirty, cobwebs dirty skirting boards but worst of all the kettle was covered in dust and still had water in it, who knows how long it had been there. I paid £170 for one person for one night which was very expensive considering the above. The breakfast was just ok, not much left even though i had to say the day before what time I would be eating. Wouldn’t rush to stay here again at that price

pleasant overnight
Pros:

lovely view from dining area.
Log fire place in dining area
large room.
would like to stay longer to exxplore the area

Cons:

arrived late and did not have time to enjoy facilities such as the pool as it closed 9pm.
Reception was hard to find in the dark. There was no obvious sign in the dark or on the door - one of us had to go and explore in the dark to kow where it was.
You can see a pool through a window and this made me think the reception would not be there, but it right next to the indoor pool.
