Die Lage war perfekt. Den Sonnenuntergang konnten wir sogar von unserem Balkon anschauen. Beim Frühstück fehlte es uns an nichts. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Putzfrau war sehr aufmerksam. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Grösse. Der Wasserdruck war sehr überraschend.

Ho apprezzato soprattutto la gentilezza del personale dalla reception al bar, alle addette alle camere.
Poi la posizione stupenda della struttura perche' e' immersa nel verde, e' comoda ad un passo dalle spiagge di Citara e offre una vista panoramica spettacolare!
La camera era molto pulita e con vista mozzafiato. La colazione buonissima.
Ho molto apprezzato anche il servizio navetta, il conducente mi ha portato proprio fuori all'ingresso dei Poseidon. Grazie, e' stato un soggiorno molto piacevole e ci ritornero'.

Disponibilità del personale, le terme con il centro massaggi, il ristorante del pranzo, le piscine, le camere.

Everything was perfect, Giampaolo made our stay even more pleasant, I will be coming back for sure and as soon as possible. Happy days, good pool, amazing view, I felt at home in this place. Really really special!!!

Die Lage und das freundliche Personal. Die super Poolanlage ist ebenfalls lobend zu erwähnen.

Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, sehr sauber und bietet eine ruhige Atmosphäre bei einer hervorragenden Lage. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.

We were looking for an authentic Italian boutique holiday full of charm, and Hotel Terme Providence delivered on every level.

What makes a holiday special are the people, and the staff here were incredible. The management is clearly brilliant. Owner JeanPaul was a real highlight. On gala night he was chatting with everyone, dancing, and making sure every guest felt welcome. His smile and warmth set the tone for the whole stay. The hotel manager also went above and beyond and kindly drove us to La Mortella Gardens — such a lovely gesture. The gardens are absolutely fabulous and well worth the trip. We caught the bus back.

Room
We stayed in a Comfort Suite which was spacious with a really well-equipped bathroom. There’s a wall hairdryer provided. There’s no kettle in the room, but we knew this in advance and brought our own — the hotel kindly gave us milk so we could start the day with a cuppa. They don’t provide bottled water in the rooms, but you can buy large chilled bottles at reception which we did daily.

Food & Drink
Breakfast was amazing. Huge selection of cold meats, cheeses including the most delicious ricotta, fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, preserves, and the best homemade cakes and breads I’ve ever had. The cappuccinos and coffees were some of the best I’ve tasted.

We ate dinner at the hotel 3 times. Don’t miss the Gala Night. Authentic Italian antipasti, risotto finished and served on the dance floor, followed by an incredible dessert spread including chocolate cannoli. Then dance the night away!

The cocktails are fantastic — we loved the Mojitos and Bloody Marys. The local Ischia wine is very reasonably priced, and they make a delicious homemade Lemon Soda from lemons grown in their own garden. Every drink comes with lovely snacks. It’s perfect sitting with a cocktail watching the sunset before dinner.

Pools & Spa
There are 3 pools: 2 outdoors including a 40°C thermal pool, and an indoor saltwater pool with Jacuzzi. It’s a spa hotel and mid-week we were offered a complimentary body mud mask. We also booked a massage which was so relaxing. Tip: bring a swim hat as it’s required in the pools. You can hire beach towels or bring your own.

Location & Extras
The hotel is on a slope. A 5-10 min walk either way gets you to lots of great local restaurants and bars. Our favourites were Jamm Ja for pizza and Ristorante Da Ciccio for incredible fresh fried cod. There’s also beach access just across the road, about 5 mins down steps.

There’s a kids club in the afternoons. With only 5 children in the hotel the week we were there, our 2-year-old grandson loved it. The hotel also has books and games you can swap.

The absolute highlight was the Friday trip to the hotel’s family vineyard. The mountain drive is a bit hairy but the views are worth it. JeanPaul tells stories about his family and Italian traditions, introduces everyone, and finishes by leading us in local singing. I’m not a singer but it was so much fun and so heartwarming.

We didn’t feel the need to visit other thermal parks on Ischia as everything we needed was here.

Hotel Terme Providence feels authentic, welcoming, and fun. We’ll be back.

The hotel is simply wonderful-excellent facilities and a perfect location.
But I would especially like to praise the staff-friendly, helpful, and very attentive. My wife and I felt welcomed in a truly special way.
Maria and Gianpaolo, the owners, are incredibly warm-hearted people who truly hold a special place in our hearts.

Ein tolles Hotel, nur durch eine Straße vom Meer getrennt mit einer super Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. "Nur" Gartenblick..aber wann ist man auf dem Zimmer? Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und bei Problemen (meist mit den Busverbindungen) sehr hilfreich. Am Frühstück gibt es gar nichts auszusetzen, alles ausreichend vorhanden. Am Pool gab es zu keiner Zeit einen Mangel an Liegen oder Schattenplätzen. Der "Spiaggia Cava Dell'Isola" ist vom Hotel in 10 Minuten zu erreichen und man kann dort Liegen und Sonnenschirme ausleihen. Sehr zu empfehlen: Ristorante La Capanna, direkt unten am Strand. Hat leider nur bis 19 Uhr geöffnet, aber für die "Mittagspause" der perfekte Ort mit einer tollen Speisekarte. Restaurantgäste können hier kostenfrei Liegen und Schirme ausleihen.
Die im Hotel angebotenen Beauty- und Wellnessbehandlungen haben wir nicht genutzt.
Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt, auch wegen des fast schon familiären Charakters (Dank an Jean Paul!)

Lage

An amazing time at this beautiful family hotel. The family and staff made us feel so welcome and very attentive without being intrusive. Gennaro, Carmine and Sara the best bar staff, nothing was a problem for them.
The hotel, thermal pools and location were just the best. Stunning views from the terrace and only a 15 min walk into Forio. We had a garden room which was spacious, comfortable and had fabulous views. First visit to the hotel and can’t wait to return.

This is my third visit to this wonderful hotel.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and kindness. Their attention to detail and sincere desire to make every guest happy shines through in everything they do.

The hotel itself is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and set in a wonderful location. We loved spending time by the thermal pools, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and stunning views. Every part of our stay felt effortless and relaxing.

What we will remember most, however, are the people. The warmth, friendliness and pride they take in looking after their guests made our holiday truly memorable. In a world where hospitality can sometimes feel impersonal, Hotel Terme Providence offers something increasingly rare – genuine care and heartfelt hospitality.

Our stay at Hotel Terme Providence this June was nothing short of magical. Nestled perfectly near the charming town of Forio and just moments from the renowned Poseidon Thermal Gardens, the hotel is a true hidden gem on the island of Ischia.
From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm, genuine sense of Italian hospitality that only a family-run establishment can provide. The care, pride, and heartfelt attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the experience. A special mention must go to Giampaolo, who could not have done more for us, his kindness, attentiveness, and effortless charm made our stay truly unforgettable.
We opted for half board, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Both breakfast and dinner were consistently exceptional, fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of authentic local flavours that captured the essence of Italian cuisine.
The hotel itself is impeccably clean, with a sense of tranquility and care that makes it instantly relaxing. The thermal pools and on-site spa were exquisite, offering specialised Ischia thermal treatments that made our stay not just a holiday, but a truly restorative wellness experience.
