Nice, clean place to stay for a night in a peaceful setting.
Pros:

Very clean and in a peaceful setting. Breakfast was simple with a number of sweet treats. The breakfast ladies were nice.

Cons:

This hotel seems to cater to businessmen and is impersonal. Most rooms are in a building next to the castle-looking building. There’s only one restaurant nearby, and it’s old school Italian for businessmen - including waiters that look down on you for ordering a pizza. 🤣

A wonderful hotel that feels like you've found treasure on a treasure hunt
Pros:

The entire hotel was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The room was tastefully and elegantly decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were just the right height, not too soft. The room was warm and the bathroom was heated, which I appreciated. It was spacious enough for two people.

Breakfast consisted mainly of sweet breads (brioche with cream, pancakes, mini tarts, etc.), but there were also regular breads like mini croissants, toast, and small buns. Ham, cheese, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, of course coffee and tea and juice, and more were also available, making for a very satisfying breakfast.

Since we stayed one night on our way to Tuscany, I won't comment on access to the center of Modena, but the hotel is a little far from the center, making it very quiet.

Cons:

Not at all, but the owner was a little unfriendly, but she did what was needed and answered my husband's questions accurately.

Perfect stay but you need a car to get there
Pros:

I loved everything :-) breakfast was wonderful. Staff was very attentive.

Great stay outside of Modena
Pros:

We chose this hotel because it is pet-friendly and located just outside of Modena. The entire staff was very welcoming and our small dog received an especially warm welcome. The property was clean, well maintained and offered plenty of spacious parking. Our room was also very large and comfortable. Although the hotel does not serve dinner, there are several excellent pizzerias nearby, which made dining easy and enjoyable.

La struttura è veramente bella. Il castello è inserito in un parco con spazioso parcheggio dove tutto e molto curato e rilassante.
