Important information:

Guests are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance of their estimated time of arrival. This can be noted in the Comments Box during booking or by contacting the hotel using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.

Please note that there is no elevator in the hotel. All rooms are located on the first or second floor.

Please note that from October to beginning of March the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. On those days the reception is only open until 16:00. Arrival after this time is not possible.

Pros:

Emplacement de l'hôtel au bord du lac, à 200 mètres de la vieille ville de Morat, chambre simple mais avec tout le confort. Petit déjeuner avec tout ce qu'il faut et personnel très aimable et serviable.

Cons:

Aucun point négatif à donne sur cet hôtel.

Nicht negativ - aber etwas merkwürdig: ausgerechnet das Hotel mit deutschem Namen "Schiff" wird offenbar französisch geführt.

Pros:

Lage, helles Zimmer, bequemes Bett, schöne Aussicht, Ostereier am Empfang, freundliche Begrüssung beim Ankommen. Sie konnten alle Deutsch im Hotel. Genug Decken und Kissen.

Cons:

Frühstücksbuffet haben die Eier gefehlt, es wurde nicht nachgefragt, ob man noch Kaffee möchte oder sonst etwas braucht. Als ich Feedback gab, wurde dies nicht gerade gut aufgenommen. Es kam eine Ausrede, ich habe zwei Jobs.
WC: mal hat die Spülung nicht funktioniert. Das Wasser ist lang im WC gelaufen. Dunkle Vorhänge wären wichtig, denn das Strassenlicht scheint bis spät in die Nacht ins Zimmer.

Wonderful location and easy access to everything in Murten
Pros:

Great location, parking close by, lovely old building with lots of charm.

Cons:

The bathroom shower was in a bath, but the bath was nearly the same hight as me. We heard they are renovating soon and said, please do not lose the charm of the room, it’s really beautiful in a period setting, please just change the bath tub that you need a step ladder to get in and out of.

Die Zimmer waren geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Das Frühstütcksbuffet war überaus reich gedeckt. Dabei hatten wir eine sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung und Informationen für mögliche Ausflüge. Wir haben es voll genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Danke

Sehr gute Lage, aber leider mit sehr grossem Renovationsstau.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, das WC/Dusche noch kleiner.

Cons:

Grösse der Dusche. Grösse des Zimmers. In der Nacht war es heiss im Zimmer, obwohl die Aussentemperaturen tief waren. Am schlimmsten war, dass ein Stock tiefer in einem sehr grossen Saal Fasnacht mit mehreren Guggen-Musiken bis nach Mitternacht gefeiert wurde. Der Lärm war extrem.
