Bizarre ervaring
Cons:

Het was mijn meest bizarre hotelervaring ever. Ik was letterlijk de enige gast in het hotel die nacht. Het is een hotel met zowel een slaapzaal en met gewone kamers. Ik had een bed in de slaapzaal geboekt. Ik had 35 bedden om uit te kiezen min de bedden waar alleen vuil beddegoed op lag. Ik was erg moe, dus heb gelukkig wel goed geslapen, maar het was echt een heel apart gevoel.
Hygiëne van de ruimtes kan beter.
Toen ik aankwam was het echt zoeken naar waar ik wezen moest. Er stond wel restaurant en pizzaria Aletschhorn, maar nergens hotel Aletschhorn. Ik kon het ook niet vragen, want het restaurant/de pizzaria waren gesloten. Ik had een zware wandeling achter de rug en was echt even bang dat ik toch geen slaapplek had. Gelukkig kwam toen de eigenaar aangelopen. Die van buiten zei welke deur ik moest hebben richting de slaapvertrekken. (De eerste keer deze vakantie dat er niet meegelopen werd en zaken aangewezen werden en ik heb veel slaapplekken gehad deze vakantie).
In de nacht, toen ik naar de WC moest 1 etage lager mist ik bijna de bovenste trede. Een zeer donker trapgat en pas als je als je al (zo ongeveer) op de trap staat gaat er een lamp aan die maar weinig licht geeft. Gevaarlijke situatie dus. Ook onderaan de trap is nog 1 extra opstapje met donker tapijt. Daar moet je dus ook echt opletten als je 's nachts naar de WC gaat, dat je niet over dat opstapje struikelt. Vlak naast de deur richting wc, douches en wasbakken.

Bequeme, angenehme Unterkunft mit fantastischem Blick auf die Walliser-Berge
Pros:

Aussichtsreiche Lage, gut erreichbar, schönes Eckzimmer mit toller Aussicht, saubere Unterkunft, sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, kleines aber feines Frühstück

Preis-Leistung könnte noch etwas besser sein

Pros:

The view from the room was absolutely spectacular, of the entire valley below and the mountains surrounding it, like something from a movie! The room is cute, cozy and clean, with a renovated and spotless clean bathroom.
The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff (owner?) very nice.
Hotel is located next to the gondola station so really convenient to arrive! Belalp is a wonderful location for hiking or even easy walks, with breathtaking views! Perfect visit, and i would love to visit again!

Up-to-date and clean facilities, friendly staff, incredible view

Cons:

People in the dorms were up all hours of the night, talking loudly and turning on lights well after midnight. It's too expensive to justify being unable to sleep
