Worst hotel I have ever stayed

Cons:

We booked 4 rooms for 2 nights , out of which 2 rooms do not have hot water . They moved us to another 2 rooms which are not clean and have insects and not twin bedrooms and lower grade rooms. On the second day they moved us to another room which they claimed is an upgrade but the rooms were equally unclean and smaller.

Pros:

Grande chambre très propre belle salle de bains. Hôtel ok pour visiter les attractions autour de Ruteng. Bonne nuit d étape.

Cons:

Difficile de manger sur place sans véhicule.

Au calme et belle chambre
Pros:

La chambre, spacieuse et propre.
Le calme.

Cons:

Pas de prise ni de lumière sur les côtés du lit.
Manque des jus de fruits au Petit déjeuner .
Communication difficile en anglais.

Comfortable and clean
Pros:

Some of the reviews had made this out to be a bit strange. We arrived expecting it to be a bit under par but our family found this to be good value and very comfortable. The bedrooms are large, inviting and clean. We had a driver so we didn’t have to find our way around and were only staying for one night. For that reason, I can’t comment on the location. Friendly staff and the breakfast (which had received criticism in some of the reviews was absolutely fine - local cuisine, eggs if you asked and toast.

It seemed a little like a conference hotel but that wasn’t really a problem

Good to sleep and take a shower. That’s all.
Pros:

It looked bad, like a prison or an hospital and was totally empty. Nothing to eat, nothing to drink.

A large but sparsely equipped roadside hotel with helpful staff
Pros:

The room was spacious. Staff were quick to respond to any requests, for example to mop the floor or to provide a rack for drying clothes. The hotel has large concrete buildings with interesting architecture and interior design features in a 20th century modernist style. The location on the main road is convenient for getting the bus to or from Bajawa.

Cons:

Some facilities are only semi-functional, perhaps because there are too few guests for the large size of the hotel. The hot water has to be switched on by request to reception when needed. Wi-fi is available only in the lobby area, and even then tends to switch off unexpectedly. The room is sparsely furnished, with a metal coat rail, but no wardrobe, drawers or shelves for clothes. The breakfast buffet is limited; during my stay fruit (bananas) were only provided on two days out of three. (The restaurant opened only for breakfast.)

Not the best place to stay in Ruteng
Pros:

The bed was comfortable.
Secure parking at night ( travelling by bike).
Quiet room.

Cons:

No seating area in the corridor in front of the room. Have to seat on the floor to have a drink ( no welcome drink) . Cannot even use the chair from the room: 1 for 2.
All small and simple accommodations offer a seating place in front of the room everywhere. Poor breakfast.
