Un hotel a no perder
Pros:

Todo lo de este hotel nos ha gustado. Un sitio ideal para descansar, pues no se oye un ruido. La jefa del lugar es como una madre, que hace que te sientas como en casa, y tiene detalles que no hemos visto en hoteles de 5 estrellas. El desayuno es de no creer, una maravilla.

Cons:

La única pega que le ponemos es la dificultad para encontrarlo, pues las señales (una en particular) llevan a confusión. Una vez encontrado llegas a tu hogar.

Decent deal with amazing host
Pros:

The best part of this accommodation was the hosts, who were welcoming, helpful, and overall amazing. The apartment was good for the price with a great view over the valley. You can enjoy a sauna (€10) or a steam bath (€15) there. Full breakfast, which is so worth it, is €8.

Cons:

What I missed was some place to hang our wet clothes.

Suuuuuper voor een koppel en ook voor sportieve mensen
Pros:

De Bulgaarse 'spirit' die in Shipka heerst en de locatie als uitval omdat ik een hoogtetraining wou rijden van daaruit naar Buzhludja (1440 meter) en van daaruit naar Shipka monument (12 km verder). Daarna een warme douche en een dutje om te bekomen. Hier kun je als optie een super ontbijt bestellen waarna je probleemloos qua energie om je fiets de bergen in 'vliegt'. Ze hebben ook alle kanelen op televisie, dat vonden mijn partner en ik ook wel heel leuk en zeker een extraatje. En je zit natuurlijk vlakbij de mooiste kerk van Bulgarije en kijkt uit op de werkelijke rozenvallei. Kazanluk ligt overigens op 10 km met de auto ook. Suuuuper dus.

The position is great and the owner has been exceptional into helping us organizing a day trip to the Shipka Monument and the Buzludzha memorial.

Great hotel, I would return
Pros:

Very nice and friendly family hotel.
This hotel makes a great base for the Shipka Monument, Buzludzha, the Tracian Valley and other monuments around the village.
The breakfast was very tasty and well served, it's really worth the 8 Eur paid in October 2025
I would definitely return here if I ever have the opportunity to return to this part of Bulgaria.
