Lovely Staff, Great Rooms & Stunning Mountain Sunrise Views
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at the Olivar Hotel. The view of the sunrise from my room each morning was truly stunning. As a digital nomad, the high-speed, reliable Wi-Fi was an absolute highlight and made working remotely effortless. I also thoroughly enjoyed the fresh, delicious breakfast served each morning.

Cons:

Everything was exactly as described and promised, so I have absolutely no complaints. It was a perfectly seamless experience.

Nous avons malheureusement été très déçus par notre séjour.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons constaté plusieurs problèmes importants :

* Il n’y avait aucune lumière dans les toilettes / la salle de bain, ce qui les rendait inutilisables une fois la nuit tombée.
* Les draps n’étaient manifestement pas propres, avec la présence de cheveux ainsi que de poils.
* La porte de la chambre ne pouvait pas être verrouillée de l’intérieur, ce qui ne permet pas de dormir en se sentant en sécurité.
* Le détecteur de fumée n’était même pas installé : il était simplement posé dans le tiroir du chevet, ce qui est particulièrement inquiétant en matière de sécurité.

Le seul véritable point positif est la présence de la climatisation. En revanche, son unité extérieure fuit en permanence sur la terrasse, ce qui la rend désagréable à utiliser.

Au vu de ces différents problèmes d’hygiène, de confort et surtout de sécurité, je ne recommande malheureusement pas cet établissement tant que ces points ne seront pas corrigés.

It was an amazing stay at the hotel

Le personnel hyper accueillant et aimable

Cons:

L’hôtel pas propre, rien à vous avec les photos. Petit déjeuné inexistant, ils font les courses sur place et te sers une assiette de petit dej avec le stricte minimum. On te demande même pas de quoi tu es allergique. J’ai des vidéos si je pouvais mettre les vidéos vous serez tous choqué. La porte de ma chambre cassé, toilettes sale. Tout sauf du 4 étoiles.

Dont book this hotel in Tirana
Cons:

We had to leave in the middle of the 2nd night
I don't recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tirana. I have never complained on here yet, but this place shouldn't be advertised as a 4* hotel, more like a house with multiple rooms. The first night we got in there was no front desk staff, eventually a worker who spoke no English showed up from the kitchen and gave us the room door key, no card for the electricity and no instructions on how to work the lift ( needed a special key for 3rd floor that we werent given). Another issue we had was every time you flushed the toilet, the water would slip out between the seat and on the floor. The main reason we left was because the shower would stop working midway through using it. This happened twice, and both times i was stuck with shampoo all over my head, after attempting to go down to front desk twice and not finding someone we decided to contact booking.com and someone magically appeared after but was very dismissive about the shower situation. I told them I want to leave as these are not 4* conditions, and not worth 70€ per night, they asked for payment and I agreed because the hotel its an secluded location up on the hill, far from the city centre and with nothing around it so chose to pay to avoid an altercation or argument especially since we were in a different country. So they charged me for 2 nights even though I was only in the hotel room for 1 night, since we left at midnight the next day. They didn't want to make any amendments and charged me €150 for 2 nights, which for me seems far too much for what you get. Then they stood and watched me until my taxi came to pick me and my girlfriend up. Ended up booking a much nicer hotel in city centre for €60 per night. Breakfast is poor too, PLEASE JUST STAY AWAY!

Great people, great views, great value.
Pros:

Absolutely great staff. On the first night a staff member set a tv up to watch the world cup. Ended up watching it with him and, although he didn’t speak English, google translate really helped.

Cons:

It is a little bit further away but taxis are very cheap
