Very good! Would return.
Pros:

Loved the options within the hotel for food and drinks etc. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room and bed! Lovely staff. Enjoyed being by the water.

Cons:

Bit far out of Galway. Easy taxis. Didn’t realize there was a fair next door. Not loud. Shower a bit weak.

Pure luxury and comfort with excellent food and services

Excellent location and nice rooms.
Pros:

Great location, close to Salthill with great restaurants.
quiet rooms, we also had complimentary bottle of red wine in our room when we checked in which was a lovely gesture. Online check in was great and efficient

Cons:

There was a play/circus area just next to the hotel which made the area quite busy and noisy

Disappointing experience for such a grand old hotel.

Cons:

IT NEEDS AIR CONDITIONING.
For a 4* and expensive hotel a cheap fan does little to cool down stifling hot rooms. It makes for very uncomfortable nights.
The unusual and expensive menu with minimum pricing of $29 for one course needs changing.

Lovely location with friendly staff but they need to work on the room amenities.

The location was amazing and staff were very friendly

Cons:

There were no fridges in the rooms and no air con. No net curtains on the windows so you’re either in darkness or in full view of the street outside.
Tried to contact the Hotel on several occasions before we arrived, but got no reply. However, got nagged by some AI chatbot to book breakfast every day and dinner. And then you had to confirm the times just before you arrived - each one done separately so very annoying.
Dinner on the first night was over salted and sent back.

Outdated room, bathroom fairly fresh- not matching a room.
Poor breakfast ( 8am opening restaurant, ala carte breakfast- not much selection),front desk staff-cold welcome a guests.
Hotel room card slots ( energy saving called) wasn't works properly so no lights in bathroom-after complaints I've received 2 bulbs???? which I didn't request.
Swimming pool size good but no jacuzzi, few small floor tiles missing and rusty rails bolts

Hotel needs to be refreshed badly

Pros:

Location was good, although sited next to a fair ground (closes at 8pm)

Cons:

Rooms need air con in the heat, although there was a fan. Breakfast was good, food ordered came out quickly and was tasty, the evening meal wasn’t that great.
