The Evening meal was very nice room was ok not much of a view.
The Breakfast was Shocking toast was stone cold breakfast not much better.

The mattress was very average. It needs to be replaced.
The pillows were rubbish, like chip packets.
My bottom sheet did not looked like it had been washed properly OR at all. That's really tacky.

Cramped and basic room, cheap and uncomfortable mattress. Bathroom also tiny.

The location in Dornoch is good and easy access to restaurants and the beach.
This is a hotel and bar, Scotland were playing in the world cup the night we stayed and the game started at 2am in the morning and there was a late bar on, as Scotland won you can imagine the noise. I understand this is a locals pub too but having raucous late nights with populated hotel rooms above are mutually exclusive, so on these occasions do one or the other.
Situated in a delightful wee town it’s hard to fault anything about our stay. The pub was good, the food was good, the atmosphere was good and the staff were good.
