Stay was good
The neat and clean environment..

Lack of staff
The rooms were clean with mind-blowing services. The food was homely. Rooms were well maintained, travelled with aged people and a kid. Location is good with taxi stand available, restaurants are nearby. We informed the host and they prepared homely food. The host assisted us with all kind of support required from arranging cab, permit and homely food. The host has a humble attitude. MG marg is 15 mins walk, but only for fit people, not possible for aged people or who does not have that fitness to walk. The host arranged for all permits and cab so there was no headache to get them arranged.
I liked almost everything, location was good but it's 15 mins walk to MG marg. If you come down the hotel view is good The rooms were clean but there will be no view from the hotel. And to reach to the hotel, need to climb close to 30 -40 stairs.
The hotel was in good location and all the staffs were helpful specially the manager of this hotel . This hotel is very nice you can visit with your family

The hotel was really good with a neat and clean environment. The staff and the manager were very friendly and co-operative. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
The Hotel was surprisingly tidy, neat and clean. The room was small but had all the basic amenities. The bed was huge comfortable and cosy.
I loved how spic and span the room was. Everything from the bedsheets, blankets to linen looked fresh and clean.
Room service was prompt and Dorjee Da made all the arrangements for us for the tour. He was really helpful and courteous.
Maybe a balcony or a view would have been awesome but we knew what we signed up for so no complaints.
All in all it was a really good deal and value for money.
The property was exceptional. The rooms, bathrooms and the ambience and the surroundings were very good. The popular MG marg is just 15 mins away if you’re on foot (approx. 1-1.5 kms). Mr. Karma is a very humble and hospitable person. You’ll definitely feel at home when you’re at the place.
The location from MG marg might be an issue for some people as walking for 1 kms to MG marg may be tiresome because the roads needs steep climbs at some points. But we enjoyed the walks as it’ll make you do some good physical activity
The check-in was seamless, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The room was spotless, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. Overall, a top-notch experience, and I would highly recommend it.
Amazing Hotel!!!!!
Hotel Shambhala was the nicest Hotel we have stayed in throughout the entirety of our trip round India! It was very affordable and the rooms and beds were so spacious and comfortable.
Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. They gave us very good recommendations for what to see around Gangtok and provided us with tea, filtered water and towels.
I'll definitely be coming back to this Hotel when I return to Gangtok in the future!

Cleanliness and decency of the staff. Manager of the hotel karma is a wonderful human being. I fell unwel one day and he arranged everything for me to get checked at a hospital. I have rarely come across such good people managing hotels.
