Excellent location, very enjoyable stay with comfortable beds and large rooms.
Pros:

Room was spacious, quiet and comfortable, very warm and good views from the window. Beds were excellent and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good, lots of tea and decor in breakfast room was of the period. We liked the paintings.

Cons:

There could have been more light in the tea/coffee area and there was only one chair to sit on in a room that was for 3.

A lovely hotel with great staff
Pros:

I have been here previously and cannot fault the hotel. A wonderful clean hotel which everything one needs and with excellent staff. A+++

Enjoyed my stay it was good value for my money and I would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Friendly staff and nice location.

Cons:

Although it was good value for money the room and en suite were a bit tired and in need of some attention.

We felt very at home at the Anglesey and will definitely stay there again.
Pros:

We were very happy with our stay. Staff were really helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.
We had also booked the hotel for our family funeral and it was all done beautifully. We spent time with our family in the bar which was all very relaxed and never rushed. We appreciated the friendly atmosphere and great food.
Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The downstairs toilets, near the bar, could use a spruce up!
Glasses provided in the bedroom would have been appreciated for water, to take medication or in the bathroom for rinses after brushing teeth. I am sure that had we asked these would have been readily provided.

Cons:

The room initially chilly, but a potable electric heater was provided swiftly to counteract that situation. (Thank you).

Pros:

Total stay was lovely. As it was a family funeral it was a sad occasion but all the staff were extremely kind and helpful. It was like being at home and everything we needed or asked was immediately provided. Thank you it was a great family get together. Food was good and staff unobtrusive but very helpful.
