Pros:

Super friendly staff and a cosy, relaxed vibe. The rooms were crisp, clean and a geat size retro bathroom, the mini fridge/freezer worked well, parking convenient to room access and the beds were super comfy! Will stay again

Date but comfortable for a night
Pros:

Dated but comfortable for a night. Gulgong is small so location was bound to be central. Parking out the back near rooms.

Cons:

Smoking area outside rooms, walking through the smokers pit to get to my room wasn’t pleasant.

The staff were pleasant but I will not be a returning customer
Pros:

It was available for the dates I needed it

Cons:

The noise until late at night right outside my door; the street light right outside my window that made the room very bright all night despite the thin blind, and the locked gate which fortunately I realised was not locked but gave the appearance of when I needed to leave early for an event. That delay made me late. The bathroom fittings were overdue for replacement; no tissues; no hairdryer .

They closed early and there was no one there for us to check in. Do not book here.
Cons:

I booked and sent a message saying we would be arriving at 11pm. I received a response saying that check in was available until midnight. When we arrived at 11pm they were closed, no answer on the phone, by email, or from us knocking on the door. We were stuck in a small country town in the middle of the night with no accommodation. I wouldn't risk booking here, I got my money back from booking.com but the hotel claimed they hadn't received the booking, and that I should have contacted them directly to confirm the late check in.

Great location and friendly staff I would stay again
Pros:

Great location. Staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable. Safe place to park you car and multiple eating options all within walking distance.

Cons:

1x Pillow case looked like they had been dropped in the dust on one side and then put on the bed. The shower has dark splash marks that were easily wiped away but must have been missed this one time when it was cleaned. It was otherwise it was spotless and I would stay here again.
