goed voor ontdekken van Alkmaar
Pros:

vriendelijkheid personeel, super goed ontbijt.

Cons:

gehorigheid van de kamer. We zaten in een apart gebouw en niet in het hotel zelf. Een zolderkamer in een niet geïsoleerd waardoor men al het verkeer van buiten hoorde. Ok men kreeg oordopjes op het hoofdkussen maar wij verdragen dit niet. Dus beide heeeeeeeeeeeel slecht geslapen.

Fantastic Location and would recommend
Pros:

Fantastic Location as plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great. Room was very comfortable and great value for money. Would love to go back! :-)

Cons:

Breakfast was great but could have more options for Gluten free guests. Room not easy to get to if you cannot manage stairs as we had a family room which was on the top floor and there are a lot of stairs to get you up to the room and there is no lift. You would be fine on the ground floor. There was also no air conditioning and the fan didn't work so had to have the Velux windows open wide to get air into a very hot room but having said that I would stay there again as cannot get a better location and value for money. :-)

Pros:

The location was excellent

Cons:

No Lift so be sure to book a ground floor room as it is an old building with narrow stairs
The bed wasn't the best quality either

Das Zimmer ist einfach, aber sauber. Das Personal ist sehr engagiert.
Pros:

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Ich habe den Deckenventilator reklamiert. Obwohl es schon spät war, hat sich jemand darum gekümmert und uns per Mail Bescheid gegeben, Danke. dass es funktioniert. Wir haben einmal ein Frühstück to go verlangt und waren angenehm überrascht, was wir alles bekommen haben. War liebevoll gepackt. Personal immer freundlich und fragt beim Frühstück nach, ob noch etwas gewünscht wird.

Perfect location.
Pros:

Location was perfect for where I needed to be, very central to restaurants and right in Alkmaar was perfect.
Staff were helpful and very friendly.
Room had everything I needed and was lovely and clean.
Breakfast was very good, I did have to ask them to make the breakfast smaller for me on the second morning as there was too much, it was well presented and a perfect mix of items on the plate.
Iw ould highly recommend staying at Kings Inn, I will certainly stay again

Extremely Noisy All Night
Pros:

Breakfast was good, but you had to book a 15 minute arrival time slot in advance.

Cons:

I asked 6 months in advance for a quiet room and was given the noisiest hotel room that I had ever stayed in.
It was situated next to a busy main road and cars and motorbikes were using it as a racetrack until 3.30 am, with the occasional police sirens in between.
There was also a 24 hour multi storey car park opposite the hotel and plenty of cars were speeding around that and doing screeching wheel spins until the early hours too. There was no a/c or fan in the room, so we had to have the windows open.
One of the pedestrian exits from the town seemed to be by the hotel so there were also lots of loud drunken people going past all night.
The hotel had very steep narrow stairs and no lifts.
The walls were also very thin. No wonder we were given EAR PLUGS on check in.....total rip off hotel.

Cons:

Kamer (102) is rommelig en toe aan een opknapbeurt. Door de Verouderde en kapotte rolgordijnen komt er veel licht in de kamer. Dit is eenvoudig op te lossen met goede gordijnen. Bed met een gammel en vies hoofdbord en scheve poten. is aan vervanging toe. Je verblijft in een oud pand met (te) dunne muurtjes. De kamers zijn hierdoor erg gehorig. Je hoort de buren snurken. Ook veel geluid van buiten vanwege het enkel glas. Douche en wc zijn netjes. Hotel heeft een mooie ligging, hartje centrum. Hotel en ontbijtlocatie liggen circa 2 minuten wandelen van elkaar. Ontbijt is goed geregeld.
