Pros:

Samatha Hotel is a great hotel perfect for relaxation. The Japanese-style rooms are spacious, clean, and fully equipped with a refrigerator and TV. The bathrooms are luxurious, and everything looks new and very clean. The owner is kind and has a cute young son. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers. The location is excellent, peaceful, and very close to the beach.

GREAT room and price
Pros:

VERY clean room for a VERY affordable rate.
We booked 1 room for 4 persons, the beds were very spacious, bath room large, towels smelled fantastic.
The host is a very kind softspoken lady.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, though fantastic for a good night's sleep. But if want to go out, roam around, have food or drinks somewhere, this area is not the place. You'd have to call a taxi to take you somewhere more interesting.

Cons:

During the late hours, I'm guessing somewhat between 23:00 to 03:00 o'clock some people were talking (screaming...) REALLY loud. It sounded like they were "nhau" - drinking downstairs. Our room was on the 2nd floor. Their noise woke me up and kept me awake for most of the night.

Pros:

I rated this hotel high when you consider how cheap it is. Basic hotel that does the job, helpful staff.

Cons:

At least in December, it’s dead. Papa’s German restaurant was pretty much the only place open to eat.

Voltaria a ficar neste alojamento
Pros:

O preço foi incrível para o quarto que era. Confortável, com uma casa de banho grande e boa. Era limpo e o staff é muito simpático, inclusive ofereceram-nos bananas, água e bolachas quando viram que íamos apanhar um autocarro sem ter comido após o check-out.

Em Ha Long há várias zonas praticamente fantasmas, quase sem ninguém. A nós não nos fez diferença, só ficámos duas noites e fomos fazer o cruzeiro em Ha Long Bay, mas se quiser comer algo, ou pede na app grab para entregar ou terá que se deslocar até à uma zona mais movimentada. Por esse motivo a zona é muito tranquila e sem barulho que é algo positivo.
