Beautiful old building, top location, but noisy
Pros:

Excellent location and a very competitive price, hard to beat for central Hamburg. Staff is friendly, some of the rooms are spacious, windows large, and the hardwood floors are beautiful.

Cons:

It’s an old building, floors are creaky (so you’re bound to hear your upstairs neighbor walking around at 6am). Bathrooms haven’t been updated in decades and shower stalls are so small only very tiny guests can use them.

Pros:

the cleaning ladies were very friendly

Cons:

The room wasn’t the room from the pictures and it felt more like a storage room. Extremely unfriendly personal as well unfortunately.

Good price/value ratio, nice experience
Pros:

This is an old colonial building made for a Hotel. The placement is perfect, the arrangements are required some compromises. However for that price this is a real good deal, staff is kind and professional.

Cons:

Internet was free, but often the connection was lost.

Das etwas altmodische Ambiente.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war gut, aber mit zusätzlichenm 18,- € p.P. etwas zu teuer.
Die Heizung ließ bei starken Minustemperaturen das Zimmer nicht wärmer als 17-18 Grad C werden.
Das war im Bett kein Problem, aber beim Sitzen im Zimmer.
