A stunning property in a unique setting -- fabulous! The hospitality offered by both staff and management was warm, gracious, and informative. The rooms, meals, and common spaces were top-notch. The view from the roof-top pool at sunset - unparalleled. Nothing about our stay disappointed.

An absolute oasis of calm and luxury conveniently located in Kolkata. Rooms are spacious, the restaurant excellent and the staff absolutely brilliant. Stayed for two weeks and sorry to leave.

This really is a hidden gem and a fabulous place to stay in Calcutta. Everything exceeded our expectations. It is an oasis of calm after the craziness of Calcutta. We had a huge comfortable room with terrace and a large bathroom. Our suite and the communal areas were very tastefully decorated and the views from the dining terrace and swimming pool terrace were spectacular across to the Victoria Memorial and Howrah Bridge. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was also amazing value compared to other places we stayed in India.

The staff were friendly and so kind. They went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. The property is beautiful and a quiet and luxurious.

Very comfortable oasis of calm
Breakfast was OK, but the dinner and lunch menu seemed to try too hard with overly fussy western options. A more simple lunch and dinner menu with a connection to Kolkata would have been welcome
The hotel is truly beautiful with a magnificent view on the memorial. The rooftop pool is also amazing with a view over the city and the neighbourhood. We loved being in a quiet place in the middle of the busy city
The arrival in the building is a little weird. Since it's a building shared with offices and apartments you are not welcome by the hotel staff but by a security guard downstairs. Anyone can also access your floor through elevator without having to check in the hotel first and no one is there to check. It felt a bit strange. The gym is tiny and not very well equipped. At this price we expected a real gym with sauna, etc.

Hard to find and a worrying exterior but that makes the surprise of finding such a gorgeous property in such an unexpected place all the more joyous!
