I had a very disappointing experience at Opus, and I would not recommend staying here. The stay got off to a poor start

They did not give me the bill due to fault in printer.
They supposed to send me by email, they did not do the same till date.
I could not produce my bill to my department for reimbursement.

Centrally located but can be avoided if you are looking for a calmer place. Very noisy surroundings and first floor room

Cons:

Dirty bath towels and bed linen. Had to repeatedly ask for replacement.

Very noisy. Never stay on 1st floor. The rooms are next to kitchen. The road noise also filters through.

Despite request for a change, it was not addressed.

Tolles lokales Erlebnis und top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Das Hotel und die Umgebung schaffen eine lokale Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben mich bei allen Anliegen unterstützt. Ich habe mich als allein reisende Frau sicher gefühlt. Viele Gäste sind auf Geschäftsreise. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ist wie auf den Fotos. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage und Ventilator. Das Essen ist sehr gut, wie überall in Kalkutta. Die Lage ist zentral. Dementsprechend hört man den Verkehr (so wie fast überall in Kalkutta). Ich konnte trotzdem sehr gut schlafen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Als die Dusche nicht funktioniert hat, habe ich sofort ein neues Zimmer bekommen. Ich vermisse Kalkutta jetzt schon und würde gerne wieder kommen. Eine tolle, lebendige Stadt mit herzlichen Menschen, viel Kultur und dem besten Essen.

Cons:

Das Wasser zum duschen war nicht ganz so warm. Da es draussen warm ist, war dies nicht tragisch.

Location of the hotel is ok

Cons:

I booked for twin beds and they give us queen bed saying that booking.com rooms are these only...why it is shown in the picture while booking if you don't have the same rooms...very slow service for breakfast...I am very disappointed with the stay
