Exceptional
Pros:

The rooms were nice and clean, the hotel staff was also co-operative.

Cons:

The only thing they don't provide a pickup service from airport niether the hotel car, nor they arrange any cab service where you can pay, because being a foreigner when you have bags in hand sometimes you cannot trust the local taxi available outside.

Really great and big thanks to Blue Wu
Pros:

The Wyndham is a newly renovated and very clean hotel in Kunming. I appreciated both along with support from the staff for booking taxis, a dessert they brought me on my birthday and the lovely seating area in the lounge.
The design is very pretty and there is a beautiful wooden table for tea.

I would like to give a particular thank you to a wonderful lady on concierge there called Blue Wu.

On my last day I was very unwell with food poisoning. She took me to the pharmacy to get medication, helped me to get some extra air in my room which I needed with portable ventilation machine, she organised biscuits and honey to be sent to my room top to help with the nausea, brought me warm water with lemon and honey - the first time I asked for it, the second she did out of her kindness and paid for my taxi to my next destination herself. She also checked up to see how I was feeling the next day.



She is an absolute credit to the team in terms of professionalism, efficiency and warmth. Her English was also really appreciated.

Cons:

One thing to note is that the windows do not open much as the rooms are high up and I did not feel that the air conditioning gave adequate air in the room after a few days.
