Nothing
The Queen room was small and dingy, there was a pungent smell that after being there for about half an hour began to irritate my throat. Fortunately we only lived 1.5 hours away so we decided to have a shower then left, we couldn't sleep there, by morning who knows what state my throat would have been in. I wasted $124.
It was close to shops
No reception on TV because of the weather
A microwave would be great and no one told us to finish the password with an asterisk, even the bar person who helped us get in got it by luck, otherwise very pleasant
the room was clean and comfortable
Would have been nice for The Sherwood to warn us there was a rave party scheduled for the first night of our stay! We came home at 9:30pm to the floor and walls vibrating to the doof doof. The party finished at midnight.
Room recently renovated. Bed comfortable. Bathroom is very modern, large shower. Tea and coffee provided, good sized fridge. Security pin for entrance off street and for room. Restaurant downstairs with lovely food. Footie on the Tv :) Good price
I feel management should have informed us they had a Rave Party happening in the Hotel that night. Guests should have option to book or not, especially as we were driving again the next day and did not appreciate the VERY loud thumping music until 12 midnight. It's disappointing.
Great location, good price, easy checkin, nice room, and surprisingly quiet. We were too late to try it, but the menu sounds amazing
Furniture a bit dated
We had to leave the other motel by 10am. We decided to stay at the Sherwood because it looked good in the ad online. We had to drive to Kyogle during the day to attend a show, we intended to return to Lismore that night.
There was no-one to talk to about checking in. I wanted to leave the bags and return later. The code was not received until late in the afternoon. We decided to stay in Kyogle and forfeit the money paid.
Teh room was nice
Staff weren’t very good about the problems we bought to them
Convenient location for the purpose of the stay in Lismore.
Room was comfortable.
Noise from downstairs band/DJ later at night. However, it is a pub after all so you have to accept the fact.
I pick a room from booking app and didn't get that room from a long shot $200 and I got the miserable sad discussing room I was very disappointed but I just bear with it
Everything
Spacious
Not cleaned properly - all surfaces were dusty, dead cockroaches, sickness full of water and carpet was wet
No pods for dishwasher or washing machine. No salt or pepper. Aircon units were thick with dust.
Being able to share same room with three people and not book an extra room
It's operated like a production line.
We arrived early and regardless of whether the cleaners were busy with every room right up until the exact check in time, too bad.
No country courtesy.
No "oh one minute ill check with the cleaners and we'll get you international travellers snuck in early so the minor can rest"to
It was clean and well presented
Didn’t really like the musty smell but that smelled to be everywhere so I guess it just the smell since the flood
Checking out time
Couldn’t check in at 2pm ?
Got told to wait till after 3pm when the other worker was back from lunch .
Checking a guest in seemed like the biggest hassle in the world - dirty property, dirty attitude
