Pros:

The location is second to none. Quiet at night. Temperature in the room was perfect. The Publican gave me an extra blanket on request. Very friendly staff as well. Good in the Pub downstairs is excellent.

Shit
Pros:

I coulnt get help with rooms, the bar staff said to email you which was so unhelpful and unwelcoming!

Cons:

There was piss on my friends toilet seat. The rooms were so different in standard! 7 was so ugly cold dated, trashy and 10 was groovy, beautifully renovated bathroom... The water was cold for 5 minute then finally tuned hot... thought there wasnt going to be hot water and I thought yeah that would be right, because everything else was dodgy! For $179 I get a beautiful room in brisbane lush and inviting... TOTALLY OVERPRISED and desperately needs reno!!!

Overall a comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff.
Pros:

No breakfast options available. Great location. Hotel and bistro itself was very good. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

No guest parking. The steps to the room. Bathroom needed a makeover. Actually, the whole room could do with renovations.

Good location in town. Basic and met our needs for one night.
Pros:

Convenient location - easy dinner in pub and great breakfast at the Bank next door. Easy access to hotel and room with code. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Very basic. Furniture very dated. Could do with a better bed side lamp. Stairs could be an issue for some (wasn’t made aware that there were stairs and no lift). No issue for us but could be for others.

Pros:

No breakfast available as restaurant opens at 10am.

Cons:

No clear instructions on how to access the accommodation. The rpm’s are in a separate building behind a locked door. A password was required for entry. This was sent while I was driving to the site. I had to contact the bar staff at the hotel to find out how to get in. It would help if those instructions were emailed out with the receipt when accepting the booking.

Great location near cafes and restaurants, quiet and clean
Pros:

Great location, right in the heart of Lismore. Parking is right out front, no issues getting a spot. The check in process was easy, using the code given. The room was clean, had everything you needed for a short stay, including bar fridge, good sized bathroom and really nice toiletries supplied in large bottles. The hand wash smelled divine! It was really quiet too, considering you’re above a pub, and you could open windows for some fresh air. The airconditioner worked fine, the TV was small but easy to use, and you could order room service from the pub.

Cons:

My biggest dislike was the bed, which was way too soft for my liking, and gave me a sore back. The shower was also difficult to regulate, going hot and cold a bit on one night, on another night I was able to set a good temperature and it stayed that way. This is not surprising in an old hotel. The bar fridge in the room was noisy, coming on a lot through the night. The room was small for the price, I feel a better price would be around $140 per night for a small room with no view and a functional bathroom.
