Would recommend this hotel to friends and family .
Pros:

Breakfast was very good one person was gluten free catered very well . Location was very good for meeting friends that live near location.

Very small poky bedroom
Pros:

Pros:

Pretty building and good shower. Food we ordered was nice.

Cons:

When we arrived to check in we had no acknowledgement got ignored by three members of staff I understand they may have been busy but a quick ‘be with you in a minute’ ’sorry won’t be long’ would have sufficed but it was like we were invisible. No WiFi even though it said there was on the booking. Questioned with staff and they said they’d been escalating the wifi problem with no luck. We asked if they could call us a taxi from the landline as we also had no signal on our phones (we’d drove 2.5 hours to get here) and they said no go and try and stand on the back of the car park to pick up some signal (in the rain when we were ready for a wedding after party) No instructions in the bedroom on how to turn the heating on and with how unhelpful staff had just been I didn’t have hope in asking them. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent for a short stay, food smelt amazing too
Pros:

From checking in staff were amazing, good guidance. Told lots of info about rooms and location.
Rooms were really clean, good shower, beds weren’t bad either. The room got very warm pretty quickly.

Cons:

Wasn’t much to complain about tbh. Maybe another pillow as they were great but nothing major.

Very good value and friendly service.
Pros:

Fantastic value. A lovely double sided fireplace, friendly service and a very comfortable bed.

Cons:

As is so often the case in restaurants, the lighting was really bright! It definitely needs changing to make it more cosy.
