Pros:

Very good. Good location.

Cons:

Interesting how all photos of location left out the smoke stacks between the inn and the river.
I guess I would too, if I were marketing the inn.

A great place to stay!
Cons:

We would have liked 2 chairs in our room so both of us could look out to the river.
Also a night stand on both sides of the bed.
The bathroom was great with extra towels!

Pros:

We rented a balcony room and were very pleasantly surprised at the size and comfort of the room and the view of the river, especially compared to other State Park Inns. The staff were pleasant. The hiking was excellent at this park offering a few beautiful falls for destination hiking.

Cons:

We weren't planning on swimming, but we didn't find out the pool was unavailable until arrival.

Overall, we had a wonderful and comfortable stay, and we would definitely come back again.
Pros:

Meals were very good. My only recommendation would be grab bars in the tub/shower, and something to put shower products on, perhaps shelves.

Can’t recommend rooms in West wing of bldg - no elevator (only stairs) in that part. Luckily we asked for 1st floor &

Location was great! We love the park

Cons:

Our room A/C was really cold & would just keep running even when tried to adjust temp (noisy too!)
Our toilet was so low to the ground it could have been a child’s toilet. When you flush it, it was SO loud

There was a musty smell in the room (old carpet maybe?) & a dehumidifier in there- wasn’t helping (?)

Fantastic option for Madison stay
Pros:

Clifty Inn is one of the most slept on places to stay in Madison. Great view. Friendly staff. On premise restaurant and super close to downtown. I've stayed many times now.

Cons:

Booking.com messed up the booking. The staff were so incredibly helpful. They got me in a room at the reduced price with a view.

FABULOUS!!!
Pros:

We had dinner at the Inn Friday night and it was excellent!! We later ordered the fried biscuits with apple butter and coffees all around. That was amazing too. The servers were excellent!!! We will be coming back. We had the breakfast buffet the next morning and again EXCELLENT!!! : )

Cons:

There were four of us in our room and the front desk would only give us one roll of toilet paper. I know seems silly but four grown women in one room........
