The rooms were lovely!!
Bed’s were a little hard.
Food was nice. Service was terrible
We booked a room and ate in the restaurant. We asked several times for a more drinks but we never got them. We asked again for drinks and a desert menu, never got them. Asked for the bill, never got it. We went back to our room deciding to pay on check out the next morning. At 11.45 we were woken from our bed by reception demanding we went to reception to pay the bill there and then. I made a complaint in the morning and was told they had called the police as we had walked out without paying. Reception had our car reg and we were quite obviously still there. The table had been booked on our room number so they knew we were guests. This was the start of my much anticipated birthday weekend! I was told I would get a call from the manager to discuss but she never called... absolutely shocking and very upsetting
The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable.
Annette, our breakfast waitress deserves special praise as she was very welcoming, efficient and sweet.
The rooms are very clean. Gemma and Nicola were very attentive, ensuring everything looked nice.
Maria and her team are also lovely. Definitely no complaints about the staff.
The rooms are modern.
The pillows are like stone boulders and there’s no alternative. They are high, hard and man-made, so they put your neck at an awkward angle. I went to reception three times in the night to see if they had anything else I could use as a pillow and ended up using a rolled up duvet. If you stay here, I recommend that you bring your own pillows. I would have expected some other pillow choices, such as feather. I hardly slept.
The mattress was ok.
The room (23) is dark and dingy. Even though it was sunny outside, there was hardly any natural light getting in.
The shower kept cutting out mid-shower.
I had dinner in the pub restaurant but it was so cold in there that I couldn’t wait to get back to my room. Also, the food is very average. I had a fish cake which tasted like it had come straight out of a frozen food packet.
Clean and well appointed. Had a lovely meal at the pub reserved by the lady at reception.
We had been swimming and put our swimming costumes on the towel rail and they melted where it was so hot.

My only criticism was the food. I’ve been here for business many times and haven’t experienced any issues with the food quality however, on this occasion, I was quite disappointed. If it wasn’t for this, it would have been 10/10

Le style très anglais des salons et de la chambre. Le petit-déjeuner. La chambre spacieuse et décorée avec goût.
Les murs sont mal isolés : on entendait tout ce qui se passait dans la chambre à côté… La musique était également trop forte dans la pièce du petit-déjeuner.
