Un hôtel au calme sur la plage
Pros:

Le personnel de l'hôtel a été très gentil alors que nous arrivions à peine de France... et qu'ils fêtaient nouvel an. Nous avons été conviés gratuitement au repas et à la fête, les enfants ont reçu des cadeaux!
Nous disposions de chambres côte à côté avec une terrasse commune, idéal pour discuter en famille. L'hôtel est situé au centre de Mirissa mais suffisamment en retrait du bruit et de la fête pour se reposer. L'accès à la plage est direct: transats pour la sieste, masques pour observer les poissons et les tortues... difficile de faire mieux!

Cons:

Notre chambre avait une salle de bain mal ventilée et elle est restée humide durant tout le séjour. Nos deux chambres étaient les seules concernées, les autres à l'étage du restaurant devaient être mieux ventilées.

Schnorcheln vor der Haustüre (leider wars im April relativ wellig und trübe Sicht, trotzdem einige Male Schildkröten gesehen und es hat ein paar Korallen und Fische
Surfbretter gleich neben an, wie auch surfen in nächster Nähe
An der Strasse gibt es in ca 5 Min.Entfernung kleine lokale Läden für Wasser, Biscuits, Milo,...
Am Strand viele Restaurants in Gehdistanz

Weiche Betten
Immer wieder war mal jemand abends noch unten im Restaurant, auch mal das Personal, was uns gestört hatte (Frühzubettgeher...)
Ringhörig wenn jemand nebenan oder oben gewohnt hatte, hört man es und der Holzboden wackelt.
Körniger Strand, feiner Sand am Mirissa Beach, ca.5-10 Min.zu Fuss

Pros:

It was an unbelievable experience at Turtle Bay Beach Resort. We were travelling with our 20 months old daughter amd they have taken extra care for this. Room Was simply outstanding, the beach is within 10 yards from our room and all throughout the day you can get excellent view from that. Snorkeling gears are free for the guests and you can see turtles while doing snorkelling.

It is 100/100 mark for the whole the Turtle Nay beach resort team.

Tolle Lage mit Schildkrötensichtung
Pros:

Die Lage, direkt am Strand, ist perfekt. Man kann tatsächlich mit Schildkröten schnorcheln. Große Strandhandtücher werden vom Hotel gestellt, Taucherbrillen mit Schnorchel auch. Man kann aber auch mit einem Guid, gegen ein kleines Entgeld, schnorcheln gehen. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind geräumig.

Pros:

Wir waren mit 2 Paaren hier und hatten 2 Zimmer für 4 Nächte im Haus weiter hinten, nicht direkt am Meer. Das Personal war super, der Chef hat alles im Blick. Wir wurden zum Essen eingeladen und bekamen ein Geschenk zum Abschied.
Das Frühstück war grandios.
Man konnte kostenlos Liegen am Strand haben, Schnorchelausrüstung gab es ebenfalls. Wir hatten Glück und konnten an 2 Tagen die Schildkröten beobachten.

Cons:

Der Strand ist sehr schmal.
Das Bett in Zimmer 2 knarrt.
Die Zimmer werden nur auf Anfrage sauber gemacht.

Turtle Bay Beach Resort presents a great value combined with a prime location on the beach.
Pros:

Turtle Bay Beach Resort has a truly wonderful location - it feels hidden right on the beach among the hustle and bustle of the other Mirissa-area properties. And the property-front snorkeling was an unexpected bonus. The breakfast was always well-prepared and inviting and they did Sri Lankan flavours well.

Cons:

Cleanliness and attention to detail in the rooms themselves could have been better without too much effort.
