Bakery Family Guest House

Une famille avec un super accueil, ils nous ont aidé à louer un scooter et ils étaient très à l’écoute. Le petit déjeuner est fait maison tous les matins.
L’emplacement est au calme sans être trop loin du centre.

El desayuno súper rico. Modisha y su familia nos acogieron y nos cuidaron súper bien ayudándonos en todo. En el jardín hay muchísimos animalitos. Habitación limpia y cómoda.

Das Zimmer war sauber und die Unterkunft liegt ruhig im Grünen, circa 15 Minuten zu Fuß bis vor in die Stadt. Das Frühstück war auch mega und am letzten Tag wurden wir sogar noch zum Bahnhof gefahren. Alles in allem eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft!!

Wspaniali właściciele tego Guest House’u. Cała rodzina angażuje się w pełni, aby ich goście byli zadowoleni. Pyszne śniadania. Niesamowitym
plusem jest ich własny chleb. Na Sri Lance jedyny chleb jaki wszędzie spotkamy to chleb tostowy. W tej rodzinie w końcu można poczuć domowy chleb inny niż wszystkie. Po ponad tygodniu pobytu na Sri Lance bardzo za tym tęskniliśmy. W pokojach jest bardzo czysto, łóżko bardzo wygodne. Wieczorami można sobie posiedzieć przed pokojem przy stoliku bądź pobujać się na hamaku. Nad morzem jest dużo więcej komarów, ale i to nie jest straszne gdyż właściciele udostępniają „spirale” do palenia które mają za zadanie odstraszać komary. Stosunek ceny do jakości jest bardzo, ale to bardzo dobry. Guest House jest oddalony od morza około 1,2 kilometra. Plus jest taki, że dzięki temu wieczorem można wypocząć bo w okolicy jest bardzo cichutko i nie słychać gwaru zatłoczonego miasta Mirissa.

The owners, my gosh just the sweetest. They tried to accommodate my breakfast (vegan) and asked what I’d like. The fresh bread dipped in the Dahl was lovely. They rent scooters here (I didn’t know and had booked in town, but this would have been easier). But seriously, the family here are just lovely, and kind, and will chat with you and get to know you, and gahhh one of my favourite stays in Sri Lanka. Good wifi, good shower pressure, good pillows.

We had such a great experience at this guest house that we decided to extend our stay for three more days!

The location is perfect, especially if you have a scooter (which they conveniently rent on-site). The place is incredibly cozy and comfortable we had a very large, super comfortable bed and a lovely hammock outside our room where we could relax.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. We truly felt welcome and at home here. Highly recommended!

Tout été parfait. l'emplacement est idéal. Les bus ne sont pas loin à pied, location de scooter sur place possible et pas cher. Pour les activités, les différents organisateur peuvent vous récupérer directement devant le domicile.

Et surtout l’accueil et la gentillesse de toute la famille qui nous ont reçu. Une expérience humaine merveilleuse qui nous a fait découvrir pleins de choses.

I had a beautiful stay at Bakery Family Guest House. It felt so homely and peaceful, right in the middle of the paddy fields, yet still close to great food spots and the main road. The hosts were incredibly kind, very knowledgeable about local activities, and happy to accommodate last-minute requests. The place felt very safe, clean, and well cared for. I’m definitely coming back here the next time I visit Mirissa!

The location in quiet countryside, near paddy fields but also walking distance to Mirissa beach. The lovely staff always smiling and willing to help. Great breakfasts included in price. Cheap scooter hire. Very relaxing.

Par où commencer? L’emplacement est idyllique! 10 minutes à pied du centre bouillonnant et franchement trop touristique de la ville, 3 minutes de tuktuk à travers les rizières avec quand même quasiment tout à proximité immédiate. Les chambres et l’établissement sont d’une propreté impeccable, bien mieux que certains “”vrais”” hôtels, le petit déjeuner est excellent, les lits sont hyper confortables, attention pas de Clim donc sans surprise en plein mois de février il fait chaud, mais il y a beaucoup d’espaces ombragés ou l’on profite avec plaisir des hamacs mis à disposition. Cependant, ce qui nous a réellement marqué, ce sont les attentions de la petite famille qui tient ce bel endroit, quelle bonté d’âme, quelle patience! Je suis tombée malade lors de mon arrivée et je n’ai quasiment pas pu quitter le gîte au cours de mon séjour et tout le monde était au petit soin, j’ai eu l’impression d’avoir été adoptée dans une seconde famille. Notre plus grand regret a été de devoir partir, non sans pincement au cœur mais avec la promesse de revenir!

La proprietaria è super accogliente e gentile, ci ha fatto immediatamente sentire a casa. La struttura nel complesso è bella e lontana dal caos della strada principale. Ogni stanza ha un tavolo con due sedie di fronte nel giardino e un’amaca. La colazione è composta di frutta e prodotti da forno fatti in casa. La famiglia dispone di un tuktuk ed è molto disponibile ad aiutare in caso di necessità!

Die fantastische ehrliche Gastfreundschaft

A little paradise, away from the noisy main street. The Guesthouse have a nice garden and is surrounded by nature and rice fields.
I loved that each room have a hamnock in front. It felt like home there because of the familiar atmosphere, the owners are very lovely persons, especially Modischa ❤️
I was sad that I had to move on after 2 nights.

The hosts were so helpful and hospital. I got sick very badly and they helped me a lot, got me to the hospital and make sure that I has enough water&food. Also the rooms are really nice and clean. They helped us so much more that we was expecting and it felt like home.
