This is a great overnight stop near the airport.
Pros:

The hotel is close to Lukou Airport. While the room was basic, it was comfortable and the manager was excellent about making sure I had everything that I needed, including breakfast and a shuttle to the airport. While it is more of a budget hotel, the customer service and location for overnight travellers is top-notch. It was exactly what I required.

Cons:

It was a little difficult for the taxi to find. The terrible weather at the time didn’t help.

This is a 2 storey house -not hotel advertised on bookings.com
Pros:

The owner picked me up from the airport and he is very friendly. The rooms were clean. But he misleads customers by using photos that are not real.

Cons:

The photos that were provided in booking.com is not for this hotel. The hotel I stayed as Nanjing Lafei hotel Lukou airport branch is in a residential area and a family run 2 storey house. There is a kitchen at the back of the house where the wife of the hotel owner prepares breakfast for guest and it is not very clean. The photos of rooms and the gym provided in bookings website does not belong to this hotel. Below is the actual hotel I stayed. The owner misleads customers and used photos of a nice hotel that is not the one you will be booking in.

For the cost saving and experience I would recommend this property and Alan to anyone not wanting to pay the expense to
Pros:

Great places to eat less than 5 minutes walk from hotel. Have cash for payment. Alan can help w this. Alan who runs the hotel was fantastic and couldn't be more helpful. Easy 12 minutes ride from airport with transfer organised by Alan and included with our rate. Rooms were clean and air con was warm and wifi included hot water in showers was decent too

Cons:

I wouldn't say the picture on Booking was representative of our room however it was clean and warm. Bed was firmest I've slept on. If you like a very firm bed you'll be thrilled.
