Great location right in the centre of Newport. The room was very clean and very comfortable and the room I was allocated was great. I only had one interaction with a member of staff and she was exceptionally pleasant and very helpful.
The room was a good size with nice high ceiling. Decor was OK and room was clean.
Initially it seemed as though the TV didnt work. I went down and mentioned this to the receptionist. She suggested that the TV aerial had probably fallen out. I went back and found the aerial. Once fitted I was able to watch TV.

Haveing to clime stairs and was no lift as was on the top floor and have helth condishions

Brak słuchawki prysznicowej w łazience nie ma jak spłukać włosów po kąpieli, trochę należałoby odświeżyć okna i ściany np pomalować

Excellent hotel and great value for money. I really liked the way that the hotel is presented, all fixtures and fittings are in keeping with the age and grade 2 listing of the property.
There wasn't anything I didn't like...wasn't even bothered that the shower isn't fixed to the wall which others have found 'annoying'. I much prefer a bath anyway... So🤷

It was dingy and the room was hot with no fans to cool it.

Bad smell of mold ( everywhere in the room ) Shower head wasn't fixed to the wall . Water pressure in the shower was zero! One moment hot ( steaming) , and one moment cold !
Kettle ( has seen a better days :( ) .
The room had no fan nor air-conditioning ( absolutely inhuman by all standards especially when the whether outside reached 32°c on both days which I've stayed ) .
Not even a bottle of water was to be provided!
Not to mention the strange uninvited " creatures " in my room and later on on my bed !
