Location was great.
Very clean & comfortable.
The room who was for us don't have hot water at the bathroom.
It is centrally located in Newport, IOW. Not much else to like about it.
It’s old and worn down and dingy. Poor choice of carpets and curtains which are dated. The lady Manager’s attitude and belligerent behaviour when I asked for a desktop fan for my room. She just did not care that it was too hot and humid in my room no 8 and said just open the windows which I had already tried. She said she was not going to bother the owners on my behalf as she was the manager and on her own so she could not help. The room was dingy with musty smell. Old and ageing towels and linen. Floor not hoovered. Poor lighting, I couldn’t even read a newspaper. Manager said ‘this is after all a budget hotel, what do you expect’!!
Staff were great. Very good value for money and good location. Friendly people and lots to do.
It doesn't serve breakfast any more.

Room was so suffocating, and it’s not even in good condition. And they’re reusing same towels without washing. Even the bedsheet and pillow covers are dirty. Totally worst experience ever.

Loved the location, near to the bus station, shops and the quirky little alley at the side. My room was under the arch, so I could see the replica watchman's bell. Value for money, it is what it is, a friendly, quirky budget hotel
Tiny coffee cups, the bath was badly stained, wasn't sure if the towels were beige or dirty.

Room was uncomfortably hot. It was during a heatwave. But could not sleep, as it was so hot. Obviously no air conditioning, but a fan would of been something.
Shower did not work and room was incredibly dated...
