Very conveniently situated for us. Lovely pub and very pleasant staff. The room was compact and clean.
Wasn’t expecting single beds - though I do realise it would be hard to get a double bed in the space available.
A chair to sit at the desk/dressing table would be helpful.
There was obviously a drain problem with the shower when we stayed - the room really smelled of drains when we came back to it. Realising little could be done late at night we opened the doors and ran the shower for a while to try and displace the
smell. Helped a bit but still very unpleasant. We reported the issue in the morning and staff were very apologetic and said they would get it fixed. Hopefully a one off!
Overall it was fine, good value and clean.
Good location. Excellent food. Room was lovely

Poorly placed electric sockets when I could find one . Had to plug kettle by bedside lamp. Basic room and bathroom.
Location, fantastic food and staff

Excellent location, good amount of parking and ideal for dogs as there is a nice walk just down the road. You can access the Waitrose from the car park which is handy. Beds were really comfy and biscuits/tea/coffee/water in the room is always appreciated. The rooms that are dog friendly are ground floor, so good for nipping them out. Quite small but manageable. We had dinner in the pub and the food was incredible! Cannot complain for the price at all and we will stay again.
Bring ear plugs if you are in the dog friendly rooms, lots of banging and noise from about 5am from the Waitrose trucks delivering. Not the pubs fault but should be a warning attached to these rooms (or supply some ear plugs!)
Lovely old pub. The room was big, lots of space..bed was lovely..the decor was lovely too. In the bathroom there was a bath and shower which was nice. I would definitely recommend.
There was nothing to dislike
The breakfast was very tasty with lots of options if you don't like a full English.
Everything was great.
Breakfast was very good, staff very helpful
Stairs to the bedrooms very steep.
Location perfect for our two days at the Norfolk Antique Fair and the food was superb as always

The breakfast and dinner were excellent
9min ride by taxi to town centre lovely old pub
Breakfast very good. Room easily accessed from car park.
Sound insulation between rooms inadequate. TV didn’t work (probably batteries on hand set dead?
A comfortable bed, and friendly staff.
The shower in our room was impossible to use - either scalding hot or cold, but nothing in between. Our friend in another room said he had the same problem.
