Pros:

The restaurant is great, food and service, in our opinion no one nearby is better.

Cons:

The shower needs looking at one minute too hot, then too cold. That was it.

The room was clean and bed comfy.

Cons:

There was no wifi in room 6 , the walls are incredibly thins so i could hear the person next door snoring and their alarms going off all morning at 5am onwards which woke me up.

An enjoyable stay with very friendly and helpful staff and superb food.
Pros:

Super welcome from staff. Wonderful food and ideal stay for another visit to the Antique Fair at Norfolk Showground. Will be returning next Easter weekend.

Noisy ‘meh’ stay, would not go back

Cons:

Noisy room, water pump noise very noticeable from upstairs and it was not mentioned to us when we checked in. We had to ask what the noise was. Adequate room in terms of decor. Told breakfast (if we wanted to order it) would be a very limited choice of bacon sandwiches! I don’t eat bacon! No staff around when we left to ask us how we found our stay.

Pros:

Breakfast bacon rather over cooked, but otherwise OK. Whilst I appreciate the cleaner has an important job to do it was unfortunate that there was hoovering going around me /in the same room whilst eating breakfast.

Lovely Place
Pros:

The location was perfect for me for being away on business. Huge car park. Rooms were ok and clean. Dog friendly and don't charge extra for dogs which is nice.

Cons:

The three rooms in the pub. I understand it's an old property. But the walls are that thin that when you're trying to sleep at 2am and the couple next door are talking as loudly as they could then finally fall asleep I could hear them snoring. I wish I had one of the outside rooms as would have been easier with the dogs too as the staircase it's so tight and high up dogs and myself struggled to get up and down.

Would stay again, staff and owners were great and the choice and quality of food was perfect.

Excellent room in a friendly pub.
Pros:

The room was excellent and spacious enough for me. It was in a separate annex, which faced north and so remained relatively cool despite the hot temperatures outside. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Stilvolles historisches Hotel am Stadtrand von Norwich mit guter Küche.
Pros:

Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren überdurchschnittlich. Bei dem Hotel handelt es sich um einen sehr stilvollen "Coaching Inn" aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, die Zimmer sind aber trotzdem modern und komfortabel eingerichtet.

Cons:

Die Lage des Hotels ist am Stadtrand von Norwich (in der Nähe der Universität), so dass man ins Zentrum fast eine halbe Stunde braucht.

Not good
Pros:

Loved the pub and location . The beds were clean and comfy

Cons:

Our accommodation in the stables was not as good as expected . A very small room with nowhere to sit , cobwebs on the window, curtains and on the wall above one bed which I had to ask to be cleaned away . Not enough plug sockets , the bathroom sink had a huge cobweb over it with a spider in the middle which I had to clean before I could use the sink and at night I was staring into the beams and yet more cobwebs.

We certainly would not book again .
