Close to the main road which can be a bit loud in the morning when the motor bikers go by, but still acceptable, otherwise very quiet 🤫

Room had everything it needed. It was clean. Good bed and a fabulous fantastic breakfast! It had delicious food and the staff is really friendly. You feel the atmosphere of a real family owned hotel. Nice surrounding area!
No elevator, or at least where we entered the building. It was little hard to find where to find the keys and it was a contactless meeting for the keys.
It looks and feels like a German mansion that got converted into a hotel and restaurant, so it was well appointed, with everything a traveler needs. Free parking in the lot next to the hotel was very convenient. The area around the hotel is quite nice and peaceful. This is fine German countryside.
Maybe it's the low season, there was only one other guest in the whole hotel besides me. As there was no reception (low season?), it was a bit scary for me to be almost alone in this big mansion with almost no one around, but I'm sure it's pretty safe. If there were an electric kettle to boil water for some tea in the room, it would be perfect.
Staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly
Slept well, rooms are what you can expect, clean and comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast and dining area exceeding our expectation. Love for the detail and the breakfast was outstanding. We did not have dinner this time but will do so during our next stay. Staff was proficient in English, guests quite mixed from Germany and abroad. Plenty of space for parking the car...all in all a very nice atmosphere. The outside area looked also great, forests and hiking trails nearby, to bad we went in December. Easy to imagine to sit in the cosy beer garden on a warm summer night though...
Due to long time standstill on the motorway we arrived late and were received with great understanding and kindness and a glass of red wine on the room

The hotel was without staff because of vacation periode. No staff at all at the hotel. Not even water was available to buy. At last we found somebody that told us very harsh we could have known. Very very unfriendly. We left. Why is it possible to reserve a room in a hotel, where nobody is there for the clients?
