Nothing at all
The smell of mold. This place should be demolished. I was completely disgusted.
Everything and it was close to everything we needed
None
No
Really poor appearance. Room was moldy and walls were peeling.
Good location, comfortable bed, good water pressure in shower.
Depressing exterior makes it look like a run down hospital or asylum. Wall paper in room was peeling off the walls and water stains covered the ceiling. Cobwebs visible. Dimly lit hallways. Spooky, sad vibe. Desperately needs a renovation.
We needed a place to stay after a long day of driving And it was a half hour away from Cooperstown, baseball Hall of Fame.
The rooms are a bit dated. Nothing fancy.
For $200+ per night, I feel it was overpriced.
Everything the staff was excellent they where courteous caring very professional I loved there complementary breakfast the kitchen staff was the greatest clean cooked with love and professional
Nothing all was great
Bed was soft, pillows were soft. Adequate breakfast.
Got back to the hotel after midnight and literally had to park on the grass because there were no open spots. Entire hotel smells like mold, couldn’t find a single area that doesn’t stink. Wallpaper literally peeling off the walls. 2 shower heads and only one works. Loud rap music playing at 7am breakfast. Asked for 3 more towels and the desk clerk responded, “We only have 2 at the moment” and tried to hand them to me as we were leaving the hotel. Other staff stepped in and said, “Can we bring some to your room?” Ridiculous to charge $300+ for such a poor experience.
Breakfast was good. Many restaurants are walking distance and it’s right on Main Street.
The gym is terrible. It’s a little worn down. The pool had things floating in it.
Absolutely nothing
It was disgusting w broken outlets and blood stained couches , i got up to the room and it felt like it was used for prostitutes and drug activity, i turned immediately around and went back down stairs and told them i was not staying there , they would not give me my money back , i told booking.com about this with pictures for proof and they gave me eleven stinking dollars credit , i will never use booking OR that hotel again
The location was great being in downtown Oneonta.
The facility itself was severely lacking. The whole building smelled like mildew and the lighting was dark throughout the corridors. For the price of the room I was severely disappointed.
staff was friendly and helpful
the lack of items in room. one bar of soap, no conditioner or lotion in room. also no water bottles in room - and vending machine was out of water as well. really disappointed in the lack of personal care items provided.
This is an older hotel. Green carpet floors, wallpaper, a library with actual books, and multiple fireplaces throughout. If you want old time charm and service with a smile this is your place! They had water available around the clock and fresh fruit daily in the hallway bowl. This hotel has so much charm!
Parking lot needed a few patch repairs. The peeling wallpaper should at least be glued back down to keep it cosmetically clean. The showerhead could be changed just for a better flow of water to help the pressure. I loved the feel of this entire place but just a few cosmetic adjustments could really be a bonus.
Great older hotel with outstanding staff. Breakfast was very good.
Older property in need of significant cosmetic repairs. Would be nice if the in house restaurant was open.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an incident where the toilet overflowed, lots of water coming out and they came to fix the issue. The location was perfect, extremely close to All Star Village. The breakfast was GREAT!!! All the staff was amazing. The views from my window and the dining area were fantastic. There is a Walgreens nearby and a modern plaza also close, Aldi’s, Panera, Dick’s Sporting Goods, TJ Maxx, Burger King.. all within just a few minutes drive. Dreams Park and The Hall of Fame were 30 mins away and Albany Int. Airport an hour and 15 mins away. The hotel room had a decent sized mini fridge in the room, and you can stock snacks and plenty of room to unpack and store your clothes.
The smell of the room, it smelled a bit musty unless you had the AC on. But it wasn’t bad, it was just a bit noticeable just like any room anywhere if you shut off the AC. Just bring room freshener or a mist or just have the AC on. Also, the train does go by and when I was awake I could hear it but when I was asleep, the sound wasn’t disruptive.
Facility showing its age.
Telephone in our room did not work; thus, could nit call the desk.
Room cards were not efficient. First 2 times we used both cards would not open door. Was told to keep cards away from anything magnetic. I had card in my back pocket and my ass is not magnetic. Disappointed for the money spent
We wanted a pool for the grandkids...it was fine, just water looked a bit off. They didn't care, I just choice not to join
I liked that it was right in the downtown area.
I didn't like that the rooms smelled bad. I originally had a room on the 2nd floor and there was ripped curtains mold on the shower curtain and the tub was filthy. Luckily they were a le to get us I to another room.
