Pros:

Останавливались на одну ночь, было позднее заселение в 23:30. При открытых окнах очень шумно из-за самолётов, но это издержки близости к аэропорту. Закрытые окна хорошо справляются с подавлением шума.

Night in darkness - literally
Pros:

Room was clean, spacy and beds comfortable. Shuttlebus service was slightly chaotic but definitely worked hard to deliver everyone needing a trip to a terminal very swiftly.

Cons:

Hotel had suffered an electric failure hours before we checked in (claimed to have happened 6 am and we arrived around 4 pm) and based on customer reviews - not for the 1st time. This wasn't mentioned at all in check-in.

2nd and 3rd floor were totally dark (we had a room in 3rd floor) - no lightning, no tv, no power in sockets. One could charge a mobile phone in restaurant (kitchen and bar were also apparently suffering but not the customer space), but for a room we eventually got two measly funeral candles and some shimmer from a large parking area under the window. Corridor / staircase was almost pitch-dark when we descended in glare of mobile phone flashlights.

Despite these circumstances, hotel refused ANY compensation (at the time of stay or afterwards) for pre-paid booking. I understand that it was under a duress but the attitude was neverteless about as rude as I have ever experienced in 100's of hotels (well, neck-to-neck with one shitty experience in St.Petersburg, Russia some 1½ decades ago).

This hotel could be a good value-for-price choice if you are in luck. The transfer to airport works great even for earliest take-offs.

But it comes with a MAJOR risk of inconvenience.

P.S. After a recent snowfall, there was no way to get away from the hotel by foot. No sidewalk on highway was walkable to go to Otopeni city centre some 800 metres away. Luckily, we at least managed to have q dinner in opposing RIM hotel complex.
