Wahnsinnig schönes Hotel. Viel Granitstein mit Holz. Der Pool ist auch super. Die Aussicht ist gigantisch. Der Besitzer und das Personal sind sehr nett und bemüht (nicht alle sprechen Englisch, aber Kommunikation klappt dann eben nonverbal oder über Apps).

Cons:

Keine wirkliche vegetarische oder vegane Essensoptionen (schwierig weil es in der Umgebung keine Supermärkte und wenig Restaurants gibt). Das Zimmer hatte keine Lampe in der Mitte, nur am Eingang und Naschttischlampen. Durch das eine Fenster macht das die Zimmer etwas dunkel.

Beautiful view especially from the swimming pool

Cons:

Breakfast was not what we expected....fruit just whole apples and whole oranges ....not possible to prepare without a good knive....little choice of bread with jam,, not fresh orange juice, coffee from a machine, some flavoured yoghurt cups, slice of meat or cheese, nice that you can get a fresh prepared egg with bacon

Pros:

Hotel estilo rústico e familiar. Adoramos tudo. Um hotel diferente do que costumamos frequentar mas adoramos a recepção e amabilidade do Sr António Castro. Parecia que estávamos em casa. Vamos regressar.

Pros:

O hotel está num pequeno paraíso. Cercado de natureza e com a vista da albufeira de Paradela, não podia ser melhor. O edifício tem uma traça de hotel de montanha, com uma decoração rústica muito cuidada, e enquadrada no ambiente. Por sorte calhou-nos o melhor quarto, espaçoso e confortável, e a varanda sobre o silêncio é fabulosa. Para concluir, o pessoal é muito simpático, e ainda descobri que o gerente pode ser um parente afastado. Tudo boas razões para voltar.

Beautiful place - very remote and quiet. Nice staff.

Beautiful property. Nice staff. Rooms were clean. Lovely view. Very quiet at night.

Cons:

Bed was a little firm for my liking, but everyone is different.
We wish the sauna (which did come with a fee) was open earlier and/or later - 10a-6p are good hours if you are staying on site, but not great for hikers (or heat.)
Also wish breakfast was served earlier than 830a, but we knew this ahead of time, so really not a big deal.
