This hotel was incredible. I highly recommend to anyone traveling to Otavalo. It’s walking distance to the main market and so many restaurants. The staff was amazing and made us feel like family. 10/10
A beautiful garden, very accommodating staff, the rooms were comfortable, and the restaurant (good food, reasonable prices) was nice.
The only downside was a bit of traffic noise at night
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We arrived late after all nearby restaurants were closed. The nice woman minding the night watch offered to open the kitchen and make us some sandwiches. The location was easy to access by car and well positioned for visiting the Saturday market.
The toilet ran constantly and noisily. We had to turn off the water supply valve at night to silence it.
Comfortable rooms, good food, and very friendly staff.
My only mild complaint is that there is a little traffic noise audible in the rooms, but I would stay here again.

The staff was friendly, attentive and courteous. The grounds were well kept and welcoming. The food was good and well prepared. There was a heater in the room. It was chilly and rainy there!
The room was very basic but comfortable. No TV! The plumbing was challenging.
This property is gorgeous. One of the staff said the building was 350 years old. It is well maintained. The gardens are beautiful. All the printed materials are in Spanish and English if you need it. The rooms and common areas feature art from local artisans that is for sale.
The bed was comfortable and had lots of Blankets for cold nights. Space heaters are also available.
Breakfast was included, and there is a safe interior place to park your car off the street.
The hotel has no control over the noise of the neighborhood, and their welcome card even said that because the hotel is in a city, there may be outside noise. My room was upstairs facing a side street that has an outdoor entertainment venue, so there was noise on Saturday night. If you need quiet, I suggest you ask for a downstairs room that will be a bit more sheltered from outside noise.
Our room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel grounds were very nice. The staff was excellent. We also enjoyed the food in the restaurant. The hotel was located in a fairly quiet neighborhood within an easy walk to the market. Would highly recommend.

The mattress was a bit hard for my liking but was ok.
This was one of our expensive stops on our trip. In the end we didn't mind the cost as any excess that we thought we were paying is going to charitable causes. We would encourage everyone to do this. This is a wonderful place with wonderful people and a wonderful mission. And the rooms are good. And there are lashings of hot water. And the staff are great and so is the breakfast and the restaurant and it's only four blocks walk from Poncho Plaza. Please come in droves and add to the successes of this place. We stayed an extra night and were sad to leave. Great communal sofa area with log fire as well!
Not a case of not liking but it can get chilly in the winter season and feel a tad damp but there are electric oil heaters in the rooms.
