Vous sortez de l’hôtel à gauche et vous trouvez la laundry avec qui travaille l’hôtel et en direct le prix est divisé par 10 voire plus !!

Pros:

Seaview, location, restaurants and bars within the walking distance.

Cons:

It is not what we didn't like, we would identify it as an improvement for future guests. As we arrived early in the morning (7am) after 28 hours of travelling and the rooms were not available untill 3 pm. So we had to hang out around the pool and sleep on the sunbeds. It would be a good gesture to propose the early check in or offer a room/lounge where we could spend a couple of hours.

La vista desde la habitación es muy bonita. El personal de servicio es muy atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. El hotel es bonito y sale fuera del estándar típico de Filipinas.

Para una estancia de una semana, quizá el lugar no sea el más adecuado, ya que está alejado de todo. La cama y los cojines son perfectos. Tuvimos una cena romántica para dos, y la prepararon con todo detalle, algo muy especial.

Los camareros son superatentos y nos trataron muy bien en todo momento. Es recomendable, pero, en general, hay mucha basura en las playas, lo que puede amargar las vacaciones si tienes conciencia ambiental.

Cons:

Las habitaciones son muy frías por el aire acondicionado, y aunque bajes la temperatura, siguen siendo como un frigorífico. La habitación de la primera noche tuvo un problema con la humedad: todo estaba mojado y tuvimos que cambiar de habitación esa misma noche, y en esta misma había una fuga de agua en el baño. Tras insistir, al día siguiente nos cambiaron a una habitación en la planta 5, con buenas vistas. El estándar, sin embargo, siguió siendo el mismo.
Lamentablemente, no ofrecieron ninguna compensación ni un detalle de invitación como gesto.
Otro aspecto a mencionar, aunque no es exclusivo de este hotel, es la suciedad en las playas. Aunque el hotel tiene playa privada y la limpian cada día —en condiciones poco amigables para los trabajadores—, al salir del territorio del hotel la basura está por todas partes. Nosotros recogimos dos bolsas llenas de residuos que llegaban del mar, y es desolador ver el deterioro del medioambiente.
El hotel tiene una responsabilidad corporativa, y creo que puede hacer mucho más.

Väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse på Modala beach resort.
Pros:

Jag och min fru var övergripande nöjda med allt. Hotellets läge var perfekt nära restauranger och beachen. Prisvärt boende med god frukost och service samt vänlig personal. Vi rekommenderar starkt Modal beach resort.

Cons:

Vid frukosten stod det många försäljare just utanför restaurangen lokaler och försökte sälja utflykter och annat. Det var inte särskilt trevligt att frekvent bli avbruten,

A relaxing, enjoyable stay, made all the better by the friendly and attentive staff.
Pros:

Plenty of food choice, which was re-stocked regularly. Very attentive and friendly staff. Large amount of seating available. Tables clean and tidy.

Cons:

There was nothing that could have been done any better. The staff catered to our every need. Always smiling, happy and helpful. No complaints whatsoever.

Pros:

La habitación con vistas a la piscina y a la playa genial y todo el personal muy amable. Los camareros son todos muy agradables, especialmente Pete, que siempre estaba pendiente de que no faltase nada con una sonrisa.
La comida del restaurante está muy rica también.

An Absolute Dream Stay at Modala Beach Resort

My stay at the Modala Beach Resort was simply outstanding. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded expectations.

The rooms are incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable — honestly, there were times when I preferred spending time in the room rather than at the beach because they were just that amazing. The attention to detail and overall comfort truly set a new standard.

The breakfast buffet deserves special mention. The variety, quality, and presentation were exceptional. Every morning felt like a highlight — easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I have experienced.

The swimming pool is a real showstopper — large, elegant, and perfect for relaxing. The loungers are incredibly comfortable, making it easy to spend hours enjoying the atmosphere.

The beachfront location is simply stunning: fine white sand, crystal-clear water, and fantastic snorkeling right in front of the resort. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation and tropical beauty.

What truly makes this resort special, however, is the staff.

Coming from the restaurant business myself, I recognize great service immediately — and Dave at the main restaurant delivers exactly that. Always attentive, polite, efficient, and completely focused on the guests. He anticipates needs before you even have to ask. A true highlight and a real asset to the team.

Equally outstanding is Jayson, the concierge, who has been a pillar of the resort for over four years. Professional, welcoming, and consistently going the extra mile for every guest. On my last day, when a taxi I had arranged privately (not through the hotel) did not show up, Jayson immediately stepped in and organized a new one for me on very short notice. His support made a stressful situation completely smooth. Thank you again, Jayson — I truly appreciate it.

Modala Beach Resort is very fortunate to have such exceptional team members.

Honestly, I struggled to find anything negative to say — everything about my stay was truly wonderful.

Very nice hotel in Panglao
Pros:

Very nice hotel with spacious room and balcony. Swimming pool area is just amazing. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Breakfast is pretty much diverse.

Cons:

Hotel is located pretty far from main area of shops and restaurants, so need to take tricycle every time.

Pros:

Хороший отель, чисто, красиво! Вид из номера на океан просто невероятный!
Нормальные завтраки, территория отеля небольшая, до Алона бич 15 минут на такси.
Ресторан на территории отеля очень вкусный, персонал доброжелательный!

Cons:

Пляж, его просто нет. Отливы были каждый день и утром и вечером. Купаться было не возможно, даже пройдя через весь понтон, воды по пояс. При отливе весь пляж в мусоре и водорослях. Мы ездили купаться на Алону.
Фотограф в отеле, который делает бесплатную фотосессию, очень недоброжелательный. Очень некомфортное общение. Обратите внимание на фотографа, портит впечатление об отеле.
